  1. Something you won't see very often. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/d/prescott-75-ford-100-panel/7543080308.html RARE, RARE, RARE. My 1975 Ford panel is part of the Ford Carryall family that was produced for the Mexican and Argentina markets. I have owned some Carryalls in the past but this is the only panel I have ever seen anywhere. It is extremely clean with very low kilometers (miles). It was part of a family owned business deep in Mexico. They didn’t use it much and finally sold it to me. It has a Ford 302 V8 with a manual 4 speed trans. The trucks didn’t come with heat or air but all the holes are punched in the fire wall to run them, Ford kept it simple. Mine does have power steering which installed by the previous owner. The floor pans, door panels and kicks are in great shape, not a rust bucket. Same thing with the roof and drip rails. This thing will make an awesome street rod or lifted 4x. If you want to be the only guy in the states with a dent side Ford that no one else has, this is it. Drive it to your next coffee and cars and see how much attention it draws. In Feb of this year a gray Carryall named El Chapo went in the 160 plus range at the Scottsdale auction. Could you imagine what mine would look like all done with gold leaf lettering, Joe’s Bar & Grill, on the side. Ok boys and girls I have decided to let it go so you Ford gear heads step up. It has a clean AZ title with current tags. Have more pics DON’T NEED ANY HELP SELLING
  2. I found this if it's any help. It's a PDF http://www.tdh.sk/files/catb2016e.pdf
  3. I actually did get to be in the back seat of a F-16 when I was in the Air Guard. They have an incentive program and they put your name on a list. It takes a while to finally get your ride, but it was quite the experience. They let you take the controls and fly it. The fasted we got was 1.2 Mach. Everything gets really intense at that speed.
  4. I got to drive and operate my neighbors Cat 966 loader whenever I needed it. It had a 6 yard bucket.
  5. I know it's not a looker, but with some work it would be a fun little car. Not to mention you don't see many for sale. https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/tucson-1964-sunbeam-alpine-series-iii/7536649409.html contact name: Brian Edwards call or text: (520) 822-7222 1964 Sunbeam Alpine Series IIIVery complete car, engine does run. 6. I would like to see how the 1955 one would look lit up in the dark. I bet it's way cool.
  7. Jeff, you're going to need to add onto your shop if you keep buying machines. If not, your not going to have any room left to work on cars. 😁
  8. Nice looking Studebaker. https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/benson-1964-studebaker-gran-turismo/7535309996.html 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. Strato Blue with White Vinyl Sports Roof. 10. I had a Forum member reach out to me about making some wire loom covers for his Buick project. They came out nice and he was very pleased. Glad to help with the old car hobby.
  11. When I was doing wrought iron back in the day I had a custom handrail job for a very expensive house which included glass panels. The bottom glass panels going up the grand staircase were curved. The cost of getting curved glass was very expensive. I had a local company do curved panels that were a plexiglass type material. Matched the real glass in color. Couldn't tell. Cost was way cheaper. Just an option until you can find the right stuff.
  12. While looking through the pile of parts the sun visors caught my eye. The chip board is warped and one has a chunk broken off. I decided to work on them for a quick minute. I'm debating on using chip board again or cutting them out of aluminum that's the same thickness then recover them. The aluminum will last for ever. The chip board seems fragile and with movement over time may cause them to weaken and break.
  13. Here's a different body style Riviera you don't see very much. Not a bad looking car. https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/tucson-1970-buick-riviera/7520274120.html First year for the Buick 455. Last year for 10:1 compression. 370 HP/510 lbs-ft torque. This is a solid and complete/original Riviera, a perfect candidate for restoration. 113,000 miles. It does need TLC. This is a highly option car. A/C works with its original R12. Brakes have been rebuilt with new front wheel bearings. But the drum brakes need to be fine-tuned/adjusted. Original interior in decent condition. Dash has no cracks. Color is the original Coronet Gold. The rocker gaskets leak, and you can smell oil on the exhaust manifolds. But there are no drips under the car. The exhaust hangers need to be replaced, because it sometimes rattles. The floors, frame and undercarriage are solid and clean. You can see the underside photos. The body pinch welds are all intact and look good. I have photographed the rust areas in the outer sheet metal here and there. The rear edge of the trunk and the left rear quarter above the fender skirt are the worst areas. The tires are good. The engine is solid, but I would suspect the carburetor would need to be rebuilt. The options include power windows, 6-way power seats, windshield washer, load level air shocks in the back, electric fuel pump, power locks, highest of 3 levels of interior trim. This is the top "custom" interior. AM/FM radio, Cruise Control, Tilt wheel. This car is worth restoring, but I no longer have the facility to do the job right. I bought it from a flipper who found it in an out building on a farm. (Implement shed or machine shed). I am hoping someone can appreciate the potential this car offers. And that would be cash on the barrelhead if you are interested. Clean title. Sold as is.
  14. What about a pink center section on the rim? That way the silver center cap stands out and doesn't blend in with the silver center so much. Just a thought.
  15. Not bad looking. Would be a good one to clean up and drive. https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/tucson-1938-buick/7517053453.html This classic sedan features a rare "sport/fastback" body style. The engine is a Buick straight 8 with a Stromberg carburetor and 3 speed manual transmission. Unique rear doors open to a spacious back seat. Running boards and classy white wall tires. This Buick was enjoyable to drive in the city and on the highway as the engine and transmission sounds of a by gone era not heard on todays streets. Driving with family and friends will be enjoyable going out for hamburgers or an ice cream sundae.Years of storage in garages, carports, hay barn and outdoors will require maintenance/repairs to renew normal driving. Previously, this Buick was maintained with original specified parts found at retail parts counters, local repair shops, catalogs and salvage yard browsing prior to internet browsing.Odometer shows 03594, actual mileage unknown. As you watch movies of the 30's & 40's era, you'll look for your car and later see that car in your garage!
  16. Thanks Hursst, but nothing to report yet. It's our monsoon season so the humidity is high and rainy so I'm waiting until it passes. Once that happens then I'll get on it hard. I have a few dents on the rockers that need to be addressed first, then I'm going to get the jambs and whole rear of the car primed. Hopefully I will just need to do a final sand and then ready for paint. I will also be removing the doors before I do the paint work. Plenty of work, just waiting on the wet weather to pass.
  17. I run my plasma table just about everyday at my business. That part would be really simple to duplicate and make. If you can't find anyone shoot me a PM.
  18. Sorry that you are still having issues with this oil leak. You will get it sorted out and be finally done with it.
  19. Got one from Orielly's auto parts for my 61 Mercury. Works fine.
  20. Congrats Dave!!! Wishing you the best!! Hope you didn't shock her too much with the old speedo on your honeymoon night.
  21. That's not good news. Did you use a high zinc break in oil when you did the initial runs on the engine?
  22. What type of gun are you using and what's the air pressure set at?
  23. Thanks for the input guys. I got it out of the frame. Used some WD and a sharp utility knife and took my time. I did have a few pieces crack out due to delamination over the years, but it will work.
