John Fosters is NOT the in beer in Aust. I recall that when we were in the U.S. in 2014 there was a shop advertising Fosters and the bloke that worked there was very upset when I informed him that the only reason we exported Fosters to the U.S. was that no one drank it here Infact even pigs turned their noses up at it I have been known to tell the odd tall story though

From the information that I have the 2249 engine was rated at 60 bhp The 2251 was larger in the bore and was rated at 68 bhp After the Chrysler take over the same engine was tweaked to 78 bhp for the 2252 and the DB -

Hello Anthony I assume that my 2249 fuel line were original from the Vac tank to the Carburettor and it runs across the back of the engine block, behind the exhaust pipe down under the steering box along the frame where it's got one or two clips holding it and up to the Carburettor -

I can't post photos on here but I believe that the Standard 6 steering wheel set up is the same as a 2249 Senior 6 They have a wood spoked wheel with the light switch on the steering column They do not have a Clum switch at the bottom of the box To remove the horn button the "bakelite" cover that the horn button protrudes from unscrews There is no need to undo any clamps at the steering box Hope I have been of some help Ron -

I had to use a sealer on the new studs that I fitted to my Senior 6 as they leaked so I would assume that you would need to do the same -

The touring body on my 2249 Senior was made in Adelaide by the Holden Body Building Co.From the looks of the old toe board that I replaced I am sure that it was original

Matt When I made the new floor boards for my Senior I used Kapur that I purchased from Bunnings The Toe board was originally ply wood so I reproduced it in 3/4 marine ply
