My old worn out 1962 Dodge PU I had to shift it with two straight fingers step by step. If I messed up it was turn the key off, open the hood, pull on the linkage. It was easier to do this than pull up the tin on the floor and reach in through the rust hole.

Maybe -
You may have two problems. You might need to adjust the clutch or do a clutch job. You may also have a worn shifter that needs bushings or an adjustment.

What size is your light?

Welcome You should put Buick in the title. 1960 Ford lights would look kind of silly on your car.

I would remove the engine and tranny separate. That way you don't have to worry about the shifter.

That's a flatbed that dumps, it may sell in the upper Midwest. The windshield looks to be the worst, the bottom of the doors often rust out. Make sure when you advertise it that it is a flatbed and not the steal construction type box.

28 Chrysler replied to 36humpback's topic in General Discussion
Somewhere around 69 octane is what was used back in the day and i don't think you need to worry about no-lead gas.
