  2. Switch the wires on the switch. The LED one lead is grounded the other lead is connected to the switch terminal that is connected to the fan My mistake Put a diode on it to block the voltage from the fan.
  3. No vent for a wick. What color glass?
  4. Working in a marina the 60s and 70s I did many 1930s/40s wooden boats that I would get for very little or nothing. My first was a 12' ceder strip dingy from a bout 1910, the biggest was 66'. Its nice seeing some of the old ones, I wish I took photos back in the day.
  5. Here is an older photo of the Maid Marian, a 1911 Mathews
  6. Check out some U tube videos. If you can get by with pot metal or aluminum you can do it at home. Don't get caught using the kitchen stove and blender.
  7. You are staying on the island of Oahu as stated the north shore is not as pricey. The island of Hawaii is more affordable and there are a bunch of old car and motorcycle guys. Lay back and Hang Lose Ali'i Menehune
  8. My old worn out 1962 Dodge PU I had to shift it with two straight fingers step by step. If I messed up it was turn the key off, open the hood, pull on the linkage. It was easier to do this than pull up the tin on the floor and reach in through the rust hole.
  9. Rocker panels, lower 1/4 panels, lower rear of the front fenders and the top of the fenders above the head lights is were the rust starts.
  10. The guy on the right side has his hand under the tire, the plate says OK so every thing is fine. 1926/27 Chrysler 4 cyl.
  11. The repair was taking a long time, the scarf she is making is 2ft long.
  12. You may have two problems. You might need to adjust the clutch or do a clutch job. You may also have a worn shifter that needs bushings or an adjustment.
  13. HERE IS MY FULL 1/8 HP, it looks more like a space heater.
  14. Welcome You should put Buick in the title. 1960 Ford lights would look kind of silly on your car.
  15. You don't have to spend $30K on a paint job. Pick your favorite and find a local club or Cars & Coffee, see what others are doing and how they are doing it. Be willing to lend a hand and learn a bit. If you have a shop do it all it is going to hurt and hurt for some time.
  16. I would really like to see more of this car.
  17. A good photo of what is left of the instrument panel may help.
  18. The blue paint on it may be a Cris Craft color, I agree four or small 6.
  19. I would remove the engine and tranny separate. That way you don't have to worry about the shifter.
  20. Matt Please give warning to us about the colors, for us with sensitive eyes.
