  5. My story sounds the same. I priced a new Ford F-350 crew cab dually in 2004 and a standard model was $40.000 belive it or not. The dealer had a nice one owner V10 30.000 mile unit on the lot for $20.000 so I bought that one. Six years later I only have 55.000 miles on her. Great tow vehicle but only gets 9 mpg pulling a trailer. It's a keeper.
  6. It's a great looking calendar, except for that Boss 302 Mustang in May. How did that get in there ? All kidding aside I am very pleased and honored to have my car selected . Thanks, Dave

  8. We call a morton type building a pole barn in my neck of the woods, South Jersey area. It 's built with 4x6 treated lumber that go into round holes 3' deep and filled with cement The roof is truss type and most of the time is a 4/12 pitch. I went with a 4" cement floor over top of 2' HD foam board and a layer of plastic. Dave
  9. Just posted picture of pole barn that I got for christmas. ps. son did it.
  10. I must have been very good this year. Santa brought me a nice pole barn for my hot rods. Who would have thought ??? Photos to follow, if my son can show me one more time.

  14. When Sue and I went to the Greenville S.C. meet years ago we had a problem with our trailer. The stabilizer bar broke on the way there. We had extra parts to fix it to gets us there. Broke again in the trailer parking area. We were VERY concerned because we had no parts left to repair it and were 600 miles away from home. Looked in the yellow pages in our hotel room and found a trailer shop. Went there on Fri. and found the parts we needed to make the fix. Without the bar the ride back to N.J. would have been dangerous. Come to find out the owner was a Brother Mason. This man went out of his way to repair the stabilizer bar and the threads on the ball. He stopped what he was working on to take care of us. When he was finished with the repairs he would not accept any payment for his work. I offered to at least pay for the parts but he would not hear of it. That is true southern hospitality and Masonic brotherly love. Dave
  15. Yes, It still has the same effect on me now as when I first viewed it. It was also special being a Mustang guy, I had one like that a few years ago. God Bless all of our Veterans and this Great Country of ours. Dave
  16. God Bless all our Veterans, We thank you on this Great day.
  17. Our local South Jersey region once a year goes to a local Methodist rest home for a show and picnic. The residents walk around the cars and reminiscence about days gone by. Some sit in the vehicles and the smile on their faces are worth a million dollars. The neat part of the show is the residents Judge the cars and trucks which makes for a very interesting event. Our region has as much fun with this as they do. A good time had by all. Dave
  18. Once it eats thu the clear coat on a two stage paint job, the stain is there forever. On a single stage paint it can be wet sanded and polished out.
  19. God Bless our greatest generation and my late father. Thanks, Dave

  22. I have had a few tow vehicles and found the 1 ton F350 Ford 4 door dual wheel truck to be the best I have every had. Comes with a V10 gas motor or a diesel version. You don't feel your trailer behind you. Very happy with mine. Is ten years old and going strong.
