  1. We need more $100,000+ EVs to solve climate change and do stupid pet tricks, as if climate change is not enough of a marketing scam by itself.
  2. The "ton of parts" are for Lincoln K AND "pre 60s cars and trucks." May not be many good K pieces in the pile. I would want to look the cars & parts over before making offer.
  3. 4 parts cars and their associated parts at $18750 each and not one open. Seems to be the going rate for closed V12 parts cars these days. Plenty of rusty mufflers to go around but are all the heads, carbs and other components off the cars there? On the shelves?
  4. 60, 61, 62 and 63 series had 15" wheels. 67 and 75 had 16. What model car do you have.
  5. As I read it, this bill creats an "other" category of collector vehicle that doesn't meet the antique/historic criteria. This could be modified, hotrod, kitcar, or even a brand new corvette. Apparently anything can qualify as long as the owner declares it as a collector and has at least 3 or more "collected cars" and at least one other daily transportation vehicle with regular plates. Has similar limited use restrictions as antique plates.
  6. Possibly custom chassis built for racing. Dual exhaust indicates V type engine.
  7. Definitely not a Baracuda, Marlin or Stingray. I'll change my guess and agree with muskie. I don't catch em, I just eat em.
  8. Ford used oil bath aircleaner at least thru 66 in the F100 pickups.
  9. 8 horse big block spotted on Siesta Key, FL on valentine day.
  10. 42-48 Ford and Mercury are the same. You shouldn't have a problem finding top bows.
  11. I was just looking at 41 Cadillac car colors and they show a pearl gray as a medium gray color. Darker than battleship gray.
  12. I agree with you, TA. This coupe needs some serious sheetmetal and wood work in the rear, deck lid and fenders that the v12 sedan does not require. Also missing some items.
  13. I took my driver's test in a 64 Dodge Coronet 440 hardtop 2dr. 440 was a Deluxe trim level. It was a 318 push button. Nice car.
  14. This photo was taken before the cordless version was invented.
  15. They used to be way above 100 grand like in 150-200 range. The fact that owners sold them so cheaply should tell you something as to where the market is going. It's not just prewar cars falling out of favor, I think pre-60s cars are falling. I noticed last summer that the 50s style cruise ins with DJ playing loud bebop/sock hop music havevbeen replaced with loud live rock bands. Fewer 50s cars showing up. Lots of 60s 70s 80s modified cars are the fad nowadays.
  16. This is the same body as used in the 40 and 41 Cadillac 62 convertible. 425 of these 1940 Lasalle 5267 convertibles were built. Only 200 cadillac series 6267 convertibles built.
  17. The brown is an original 40 color (or close to it). The color code should be on the data plate on firewall. The dash should be wood grain. The upholstery pattern is not correct.
  18. I am trying to match this tan & brown striped Bedford cord material. Stripes are approx 1/8 inch. This material was sold by Bill Hirsch as TTB-2 but he is out of it and does not plan to have more made. I need a total of 2 more yards or 3 leftover pieces for 2 ft panels. Anyone have any leftover of this material ?
  19. I would have to be hammered to buy it at any price.
  20. Great truck. What's in the back? Is that a load of parts you brought to Hershey to sell or parts you bought.
  21. Ahhhh. Look at that rich Corinthian leather seating. My dad had a couple of these in the mid 70s. He put high mileage on them. He had problems with them but probably not anymore than other cars at the time.
  22. I know where there's a 33 v12 packard sedan that is in better shape and more complete than this Ferrari. It would look real nice next to this Ferrari.
