R W Burgess
A picture forum has been set up for Hershey 2006. Be sure to designate your pictures as such. I'm looking forward to a great group of Hershey pictures this year. If I may, please take some pictures of your friends in the flea markets or around the show cars. They may be used in Philadelphia at our annual meeting in February. Thanks,Wayne

Good think the way it's raining today. They're in the gallery.Wayne
R W Burgess
A wonderful day was had by all at Hershey today. a little nippy in the morning but it turned out nice. We left at about 2:30 pm for home and met rain in Harrisburg. Wow, were we lucky or what. I managed about 300 pictures to be uploaded later. The Df meeting had only 3 members, Pat(Ex98Drill), Susan(ShopRat), and me. a little disappointed, but I realize a lot of poeple were busy putting on the show. Updates later,Wayne

R W Burgess
42, I understand the Museum brought the "Bus" around to the Giant Center sometime yesterday, but I missed out on that. Wayne
novaman
I was still out taking photos and running back to my neighbor's spots in the green field to check on one of my other neighbors that ended up in the hospital Thursday evening. Found out that if he hadn't gone to the hospital for his cough, and them finding other problems, they said he most likely would not have made it home. Shop Rat
Wayne, Just so you know I wasn't disappointed, I finally got to meet you, Pat and RV Anderson (who didn't make it to the meeting though) in person. And Bill and I got to see Pat's fire truck. There are some interesting family touches to it that make it extra special. I also got to meet novaman's mom. She is as delightful as his dad. Easy to see how he became such a nice guy. According to RVA David helped his dad and brother set up his (RVA's) flea market space shade/cover.
stock_steve
Sure was cool to be able to take the "tour" of the Futurliner cockpit (check the attachment), which we did early on Thursday morning ("pre-crowd"), when it was in the red field. Super-tremendous display of a truly wonderful vehicle. Hats off to Team Futurliner!
MCHinson
Dave Corbin and I headed over to the DFer meeting at the apprpriate time. We went over by the cycles and could not find anybody else, so we had our own DFer meeting. I enjoyed meeting Dave and we had a great visiting together before the DFer meeting, during our own meeting, and after the meeting.
R W Burgess
MC, I got at the meeting spot by 12:30 and was there until 1:45?? I did walk a short distance away to speak to a friend. Although I didn't have my sign this year, I did have a "white notebook" with DFer written on it sitting in my green chair beside the "lightpole"(Wayne doesn't stand too long! ). I'm sorry I missed you guys. We'll have more appropriate signage next year.Wayne
Bhigdog
I got tied up answering questions about the Olds untill 1;30 but when I got to the MC's I didn't see anything that looked like a coherant group so I wondered away.....Bob
R W Burgess
I understand Bob. I don't know if you'd call us a group anyway. Between Susan, Pat , and me, we had to use Bill, Susan's husband to take the picture. Oh, let me post it!Wayne
R W Burgess
Our Dfer group. Ugly me, Susan Linden, and Pat (maybe I'll spell his name right) Thorpe.W.
Shop Rat
You are NOT ugly, you are actually cuter than your AVATAR photo. So there.
MCHinson
I think I saw you guys some time while we were there, but neither of us recognized you guys and you guys obviously did not recognize us. Next year the word of the day will be .... Peter J.Heizmann
Hi, Matt...Point well taken about signage.I take the blame for the lack of a DF Sign. I had it in my trailer and simply forgot to give it to Wayne. (I was somewhat busy with support chores this week.)Made note for next year...Best,Peter J...
R W Burgess
Don't worry about it Pedro. You had enough to remember just to keep up with your duties. I'd like to hear that we'd definately be in the grass next year, then we could put a "stake" in the ground , but I hear we're going to be back in front of the Giant Center.Anyway, we'll do better next year. Maybe Mike can even find my DF button! Wayne

Thoughts of a rose between two thorns suddenly comes to mind. Sorry I too missed the meeting as we were busy moving chairs and a car. Two very nice guys that were a pleasure to meet in person. It was great to have Pat show Bill and I around the fire truck and get a personal tour of it. Ron Green
Susan, hopefully it taken as a joke. Having met Wayne and Pat a few times throughout the years it was a perfect opportunity for a quick friendly poke. They are both great guys and no derogatory comments were intended. R W Burgess
Don't believe any of it Susan. Ron was just jealous he didn't get in on the "hugs". Moving chairs and such!
