Ed Luddy
This is an estate sale. Has extensive rebuilding work done and all the parts to finish. I knew the owner, a great guy and true Oldsmobile man. Chassis is completely restored. Engine rebuilt and runs nicely. 4

58L-Y8
Listed for the 1935 REO Royale are both a Model 5S and a Model 7S, is it known which this car is? The engine is REO's 268 ci L-head six-cylinder and this car is equipped with the Self-Shifter transmission evidenced by the engagement handle to the right of the steering column. Iirc, this model is the last of the Murray-bodied REO's. The smaller 1935 Flying Cloud Model 6A and 1936 Model 7A have the Hayes bodies powered by their 228 ci L-head six-cylinder.
alsancle
The Royale name plate was continually watered down after 1932. Eventually it was only found on Lawnmowers.

neil morse
Looks like a worthy project for someone with the ambition and skills to finish the job. Is it just me, or does that rubber fuel line right next to the exhaust manifold look like a disaster waiting to happen?
zepher
You're right, that big loop is ridiculous.

zepher
The only reason for that loop in the fuel line is to install that fuel filter. You can see how the hard line was just pulled off and the rubber line added to accommodate the filter. The gas tank must be full of debris.
