dodge28
Although they knew they were going bankrupt they were still soliciting business from me. That is what all businesses do when they are going bankrupt.
Steve_Mack_CT
@dodge28 they got me but only for around $700. Google the creep who bought them and you will see that struggling to stay on the right side of the law seems to be a theme for him. Things change but yes that is a cool throwback. 👍😊 Edited March 21 by Steve_Mack_CT (see edit history)

marcapra
I think LeBarron Bonney was the best upholstery supplier by far. I still have some of those sample cards. The quality seems to beat SMS by a yard. 1
Dave Wells
I was never a customer, but had always heard good things about them. What is the story behind LeBarron Bonney's demise? Market changes, mismanagement, customer service...all of the above? Is someone trying to re-establish the business? Any caveats?
TAKerry
I was barely aware of old cars and I still knew of the Lebarron Bonney name. I had no idea what/who they were, only that they were associated with Model A's. I honestly thought it had something to do with Ford and who originally put the interiors in. I remember hearing all of the time 'it has a lebarron bonney interior'. That is a pretty far reaching impact. The ending is a shame, and I feel bad for those that got less than ideal treatment in the end.

JRA
What company can be considered the successor of LeBaron Bonney in the hobby? Were the inventory, equipment, facilities bought by another company? Edited March 24 by JRA (see edit history)
