Year/Make/Model identification from an old photo

Seeking an approximate date of this photo (St Louis Farmer’s Market in Souldard neighborhood) by the two cars in the photo. First picture is the overall scene, second picture is zoomed on the cars. This pre-dates my knowledge so thought I’d try here.

Thanks

The newer car - the one on the right - appears to be about a 1942 model. Postwar cars had similar body shapes but the front fenders were longer. On second thought, it could also be a 1946 47 or 48, it is hard to tell from this angle.

It looks like a General Motors product but which one I could not say.

Truck on the far right looks like a 1951 Ford.

I think the FORD truck at right is 1948 to 1950.

'48 to '52 are similar, but '51 to '52 had ss spear down middle of hood side opening. If it was there we'd see it.

'48 to '50 had ss trim on either side of the hood side opening which appears dark in photo.

How about clothing styles Early 50's?, late 40's?
