I don't know what you guys are doing but I am getting tired of seeing my cars in the garage. Here in So. New England we are lucky if we get two days a week to take our cars out, and lately these 2 days are falling on week days while I work. I sure miss Florida............

Well, here in Cheyenne Spring came about a month ago, followed a few days later by Winter, followed by Spring, which was then followed by Winter. Then Spring, Winter, Spring, a day of Fall and then then Winter again. Yesterday was Summer and today back to Spring. But at least we are getting some RAIN, and a little SNOW with it.

Patience my friend, warm weather will get to you eventually.

Skyking, Spring has already gotten to Virginia. We, The Northern Neck Region, had a nice local work show today. A little cloudy, but I had taken my jacket off by 1:00pm and the sun came up for about 30 minutes by 3:00pm., 70 degrees by that time. My son and I drove 150 miles on our travels today. We're not getting a lot of sunshine, but at least it stopped raining and it's a little warmer. Wayne

4 inches of rain here in the Southside overnight, and thunderboomers forecast for later today, so I have 2 yards to cut before all that happens. Car probably won't get washed, nor much else that needs to be done.

I took vacation last week, and I feel like I have thrown away 40 hours of it . 14 days off total and counting today (sunny right now anyway) I had four good days where I could get out and do something. So much for painting the porch rails or putting the Hurst (which has to come out of its narrow garage to work inside it) back together.

I hope Guvnah Warner is convinced his drought is over.

HVS, what globle warming?? I'm freezing my a#% off. It's 52 degrees out. I just heard on the radio there are some fools at Yankee stadium waiting for a silly game to start. They are soaking wet and waiting patiently for a game. I think they have a long and wet wait..

Hey folks, let it rain-every drop falling now increases the chances for a dry Hershey right? Oh well, dream on!

I'm glad you brought Hershey up, Terry. I made my first trip up there last year and didn't buy a thing. And if Howard leaves early this year I'll shoot him. Had to walk back up the hill to my pickup after finding Howard's empty market site. My umbrella was parallel to the ground with me peeking around the edge every now and again to make sure I was headed in the right direction. The last time I was that miserable was in boot camp on a "night excursion" lost as hell in the black night of California. You guys can buy all those used parts if you want, I'll keep my money for new catalog parts and still come out ahead without the doctor's bill. Wayne

I will gladly trade some of your cold, wet weather for some of ours.

We are behind on rain with none in site. Worrking in the garage or even driving a car when it is 90 degress and 95 % humidity leaves something to be desired.

But as you all point out, at least mine is out of the garage. I hope you all can get yours out soon.

Rocketraider, I was passing by your neck of the woods last night on a trip back from Cleveland around 9 pm and it was raining so hard on I 77 bout had to pull off. That was some storm. I heard a flood watch or some warning on the radio for Danville. It was probably past Elkin when I finally got out of it.

GREAT GOGGLY MOGGLY! You have got to explain just what the heck happened there. Didn't remember you left the water running in the tub or what?

Its been pretty wet down here, I've been runnin my Fords sweeper back motor so hard I've overheated her twice trying to suck the garbage up in all this rain.

Randjflo, that's a good idea for a cruise night. After all the rain, we had 2 nice days and now it's suppose to start raining again and be in the 50's. It's just a lousy, lousy spring....so we get maybe 2 days a week that are nice.

Ron and Judy,

Same here in Maryland..... been raining most every day solid for 2 weeks.. ummm 3 weeks... ummm...... I forget now how long its been.

Ahhhhh... Spring in the Mid Atlantic states..........

Harford Region is having its annual Spring Run this weekend and a stop at the AACA Headquarters is scheduled.

And the weather forecast says more of the same weather....will get a chance to see if your rain is any different than ours.

Oh well at least antique cars do not melt.....just means its a "tops up" weekend for the convertables.

We are still in the worst drought here (Colorado) in over 150 years. Many lakes and resevoirs are slowly recovering. (the picture below shows my closest lake late last year. In the upper Left above where the cars are parked is the normal level)

One large lake near me is low enough that you can literally walk across it. It is 2 ponds right now and will not be open at all this year. My 5 year old lawn is beyond repair and will cost big $$ to re-landscape it with xerascaping. So you will not hear me complaining about the rain. All I can say it that it's a good thing my boat has wheels!

This mornings weatherman said there was an outdoor water ban in one of our citys. Rhode Island is only 40 miles wide. What a joke! It's been raining since winter's end..........

Hey, Ron...

The flame coming off that guys grill reminds me of an over-choked Stromberg carb when it kicks in. (Of course, I am not going to admit that I, personally, witnessed a flame that high. er, uh ...how about, "I heard about a flame that high coming off a Stromberg??"). Let me know if you believe this nonsense.

Ron..."Never heard of a Stromberg carb?? Wow!! Are you fortunate. Count your blessings. (Don't even mention Lucas Electronics.)

With all this rain, you guys won't move that trailer until December. (December of what year, I cannot guess.)

Geez, with all this rain you would think they'ed have a Carlisle or Hershey meet.
