  5. I'm not even going to bother with answering this. Some of you might have seen this before? If you haven't I would say beware! LOL its pretty amusing Dear sir, I am an international business man, specialised in dealing, purchasing and selling of AUTOS.I also help my foreign client to ship their autos to any place of their desired country or destination, most especially EUROPE, cause i have a shipper who takes care of the shipment, so shipping will not pose any problem. Presently i have a client who has asked me to help him purchase the item subjected above which will be shipped to EUROPE. As i was browsing through the internet, i saw your advert and i will like to purchase it for my client, but before payment will be made i need to be sure of who i will be dealing with if you are going to be honest and sincere throughout the transaction. So to start with, signify your interest by forwarding to me your last (PRICE) as well as your method(s) of payment through mail, after which we can continue with the transaction and i promise if all conditions and agreement are accepted and reached on time, payment will be made out almost immediately. Hoping to here from you as soon as possible. Respectfully, KERRY-JONES.

  11. you need someone who is knowledgable with the technical aspects of antiques? I know a few lawyers.. one I would highly recommend. Then my mother has worked with a law firm in NYC for the past 17yrs - they have a sister office in Boston. So it all depends on what type of lawyer you need.. drop me a note if you still need help.
  12. Hi Everyone.. Wow! I started a thread about the 1930 caddy engine & I see it's gotten alot of attention & was moved *giggle* I was gone over the holiday weekend and just getting some time to read all the replies. I'm very busy at work but wanted to take a couple of minutes to reply. I'm going to copy & save any technical info that has been posted and start a log so I have something to refer to. This is just a little side note.. Someone mentioned my fathers book collection should have info about the '30 caddy. In one of my posts in the engine thread I mentioned a "friend" stole his books. I won't mention names because I'm sure this man is known in the club. Yes, my father had a huge collection of great reference for all sorts of antique auto's. Being the collection is gone - I will have to build my own library of reference for this project. Also.. Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions. EdinMass - I'll drop you an email within the next few days. My plans are to take photos of all the loose parts - put them in a photo gallery so I can indentify the parts & make a log of all the info you have provided. At least that's a start. I will keep you posted on my progress. Thanks again - Have a good night! Clipper 47 -- I agree. A special thank you to RonBarn <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">ronbarn, Thanks to you Claire is on the right track and another fine old Classic will likely be saved from ignominy. </div></div>
