Leif in Calif
Amazing story, but that would mean you could never drive it! (more text in ad) https://goldcountry.craigslist.org/cto/d/copperopolis-1936-ford-window-coupe/7686517983.html Untouched by any modifications, this 5-window coupe is a car that looks great from any angle and also offers the excellent reliability for which Ford's V8 was known. This Ford 5 window coupe is one of the lowest mile 1936 Fords in existence, with just over 400 original miles! Yea, that is not a type error, documented history of the original miles. But seriously, some of those old 21 stud flatheads had aluminum heads. It could have been corrosion damage. They were prone to it. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flathead_specs-85early.htm

trimacar
I understand low mileage is a draw, but this is now just a partially restored car. I think it would have been better to leave the cosmetics alone, would have been more interesting.
TAKerry
I wouldnt worry about the repaint, would be better if original. I would drive that car not put it in a museum. I dont think the price is out of line. Seems reasonable.
auburnseeker
Must be he didn't want to pay extra for the free photos. Really a car that is suppose to be so original and you show one photo of it? For a premium you have to sell a car and one photos isn't going to create the excitement to see it in person to get it sold. Especially when you say it has been repainted. Sell the rest of the originality with the extra free photos.
