Brooklyn Beer
Is that how the interior came from factory? Double tier ? Imagine what got trapped in all those pockets, nooks, crannies, and seams

The comfortable "loose pillow" design was offered by several marques. Chrysler's could be ordered in either leather (as shown) or velour. They are very comfortable, and if you were riding in the back seat, you could stretch out and take a nap! rocketraider
I'm starting to think this might be a lot of car for the money. My 1976 Olds Regency sedan has velour "pillow" seats. Comfortable, but I dread the day any of those seats need upholstery. Complicated seats to repair.
StillOutThere
Could not help myself: Sent a message to the seller asking if those are Port-a-Wall whitewalls on newer radial tires. I'm betting they are! A '78 Eldorado Biarritz I plucked out of a local estate had white "pillow top" leather seating. It was "a thing" trend in the late '70s or so. StillOutThere
He replied. "Yes" so those are indeed Port-a-Walls over radials. They may very well remove themselves when the car gets to speed! Thanked him for his honesty. 2

JACK M
I had one of these once. I loved how I would kind of ooze down into that leather.
B Jake Moran
I’m sorry, but please tell me what porta walls are? I could not get a great idea off the Internet. Those have to go. Do they just peel off and on?
JACK M
They are fake white walls. A flat rubber ring of sorts that fit in the bead between the tire and the rim. So they have a bead looking inner part that is supposed to be held by the air pressure and the visible part is just a flap. You have to break the bead to put on or off. 4x Portawalls White Wall Tire Insert 14ââ Rims Sidewall Set — Omac Shop Usa - Auto Accessories Edited April 18, 2023 by JACK M (see edit history)
B Jake Moran
Thanks Jack. It's a shame you have to break the bead.
