Larry Schramm
Not mine, but for those that vehicles with multiple carbs, this would be of value. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144828828902?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l3160&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=725ad75e16af40e287dd736136f62d5d&bu=43186898688&ut=RU&exe=0&ext=0&osub=-1~1&crd=20221127070147&segname=11021
DonMicheletti
On multiple carb engine, a tool like this is a must. The Uni-SYN works great and is easy to use
TerryB
Wow, that’s an early one.
plymouthcranbrook
I had one just like that in the early 70’s to do British sports cars. Another item that has disappeared into the mists of time.
Marty Roth
I used one like that back in the late 1950s through the late 1960s when I was dealing with MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Alfa-Romeo, and other cars where it was important to "BALANCE" the pair, or the trio of carburetors. I don't need it right now, Larry, but if that's my Xmas gift, you can borrow it anytime you want. Just come south during the cold months to get it Yes, it can be a helpful tool. The carb's vacuum raises a pith ball in a glass tube achieving the same height in the dual/triple carbs confirms carb balance and a hopefully smoother running engine, assuming all else is equal Edited November 27, 2022 by Marty Roth typo (see edit history)

Um, no, still made, see: https://www.amazon.com/Uni-Syn-Carburetor-Synchronizer-Synchronizing-Balancing/dp/B073RPZKBX I have one, since I work on Corvairs all the time. But, I last used it 30 years ago? I sync the two (or 4) carbs by sound and feel.

Held it at the carb inlet and listened to the suction on the other end. I finally bought one of those tools , and didn't notice an improvement over the hose.
Mark Gregush
Along with using the sync tool was the sparkplug with the see-through body so you could see the burn. Least that's how I did my British cars back in the day.
