Hudsy Wudsy
It's a Roadmaster! Multiple carbs, suicide doors and floor shifts are just incidental to the fact that it's a Roadmaster -- a premium US vehicle made by Buick. Leave it as is and sell it to someone who will value it for what it is.
MCHinson
From the photos, that does not appear to be a Roadmaster. I think it is a Century but it might be a Special. It certainly has a later engine.

I've seen several "Roadmaster Specials" over the years. It was probably silly of me to assume that the seller knew what he was talking about. kingrudy
I agree with Matt, that is a later engine. the spark plug cover has the vertical vent holes. the earlier one is more rounded for '37. Looks like it was originally a 248, but may be a 263. I think the car is a Special.
wayne sheldon
I really dislike it when sellers drop that "I will butcher it if you don't buy it" garbage! Clearly a lot wrong about the ad and the car. But it might be a worthwhile project for a "runner" if one doesn't need it totally right (the later engine?)? deac
I don't think that is the 320 motor and it's probably not from 1937. You can't fit a 320 in place of of a 248 so it's a special with and incorrect motor. Dual carbs on a '37? that's not right either. MCHinson
The motor is later than 1937. I am not 100% sure which series engine, but it is later than 1937. Too many clues point to a later engine.

supercub
Probably just a flipper that scored the car making dump runs. Would he cut it up before trying to get it running? Perhaps, or just buy a 30 pack and forget the whole idea.
