Leif in Calif
Very little information but looks like a good deal! https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/d/woodstock-1941-chrysler-windsor/7527572304.html New tires brakes and paint job /original drive train/ runs well (815) 337-2911
Dosmo
Non-original tail lights, non-original front seats, no running boards, no rear bumper pan, bumpers covered with aluminum paint… I’ll think about it.
plymouthcranbrook
Well for someone looking for a Chrysler of that period and is not concerned about it being exactly correct that might be a fun car.
neil morse
Or, for only $32K more, you could have this one! 😄 (I know this is a bit off-topic, but I'm just looking for an excuse to post these stunning photos. This is by far the nicest '41 Chrysler interior I've ever seen. Plenty more photos on the Hemmings site.) https://www.hemmings.com/auction/1941-chrysler-windsor-696153?utm_medium=email&utm_source=EDaily&utm_campaign= Edited September 5, 2022 by neil morse (see edit history)

What is that finish called? Surely not wood grained.
Brooklyn Beer
I can't belive that bakelite is that good in a convertible.

Definition of mottled - "marked with spots or smears of color"

Bakelite is opaque and doesn't let you get this kind of design. Tenite cellulosic from Eastman was getting a lot of interest in this era because of all the color and pattern options it permitted. This is a stunning interior.

alsancle
1941 Mopar with running board delete is my favorite year. I think it’s the fenders and the proportions. Although my primary interest are the three window business coupes the original car looked pretty nice.
