60FlatTop
Reminds me of a car I sold to a buyer in Sweden. The car was a '65 Chevy Impala SS convertible, bucket seats and console. It took a year for him to say yes. He kept asking if I could find one with a bench seat. With bucket seats and a designated driver someone had to be left at home. Regulations. cquisuila
if 6 persons are good with the bench so the france reglementation will not go against 🙃
RivNut
A lot might depend on seat belts. Do you have at least one lap belt for each of the six passengers? In high school I had a 1955 Buick Super 4 door hardtop. The drive-in movies would charge by the car load. The law prohibited you to 3 in the front seat but made no mention of the back seat. One night we took 9 of us into the show in that car. Put a few lawn chairs (remember the plastic webbed chairs?) in the trunk. I forget who went stag but driving into the movie there was a lot of hanky-panky going on in the back seat. Ah! The good ol’ days.
cquisuila
9 ! 😅 for the belts in France the number of belts can be different of number of persons so no problem i will see in my riviera the number of belts ...
Mister Fab
My 67 was 6 in the US, but the french title (grey card) is only 5 even with the bench seat in front.

60FlatTop
Regulations only apply when you have been caught. It is better the think about all the driving habits you have that might attract the gendarmes attention and cause him to look inside. Avoid "faire parade de soi".
