I think you are right. I found this pic online of a Buick Special.

Yes, 1950 Buick,

1951 and 1952 had similar taillight treatment, 

but I believe the rear windshield wasn't the same.

 

PS: if my aging memory has any appropriate remaining cells,

 The red sections adjacent to, and on either side of the trunk lock would have noted

BUICK    EIGHT

or

DYNA     FLOW

Thank you Mary. I’m doing better, miss the Southern weather though. It was 55 and sunny this afternoon, but will rain for the next week. Good old Oregon weather.

I remember my dad saying a "feature" was that in case of minor damage you could replace a tooth and not the whole bumper.

One bent or misaligned bumper-grille 'tooth' stuck out like a cracked or missing tooth too.

Either 50 or 51 Buick.  Would have to see the hood or grille to say which one.
