For starters, that’s not a 36 Airflow and if it is, it’s a Desoto

What a spectacular grill! Even if it's just a shell, and the seller doesn't indicate that, it's worth $1K.

As a "parts car" the price appears very reasonable. Assuming a buyer from more than 500 miles, the problem would be the transportation costs to pick up and transport the vehicle to the garage of whomever purchased the car.

Thanks for the look at your '36 DeSoto Airflow III Series S-2.  You should always mention how rare it is too, only 250 two door five passenger coupes built.

You're correct. Last year of Desoto Airflow production, and only 250 coupes compared to 4750 sedans.

Here's a link to one in Ontario, CA for sale in Hemmings. Do you think that the red accent color is a little overdone on this one?
