Frenching headlights on ‘55 Super?

Recommended Posts

I would say that the 1955 Buick has superb styling,

right from the factory:  graceful, sweeping lines,

good proportions, and well executed details.

Even the headlight bezels are well detailed.

Consider keeping your car as Buick designed it.

At some point you may be glad you did!

I would agree with John_S_in_Penna,

in the future, you wwill be glad you left it as designed.

I have actually seen a "Frenched" headlight on a '55 Buick, and while this treatment looks interesting on some modified cars, it didn;t work on the Buick.

A couple of years ago I was considering this Lincoln convertible that had been customized,

Step one was to uncustomize it. I'm sure "it seemed like a good idea at the time". Be careful, I don't think a Buick would take kindly to it either.

Oh, tes, I regret not buying it when I had the chance. And it would be stock now. It wasn't irreversible.

This IS the modified forum guys.  Not sure I've ever seen a super with frenched lights but anything is possible with money/talent. Just do a good job and don't hack it with bondo.  I'd like frenched tail lights on a 53/54.
