4Hud
Well, less than a week after enjoying 27 degree Celsius temperature (80 deg. F) we are dealing with this in Alberta,Canada. We still have a couple of runs scheduled to get the old cars out on and normally we are clear to do that in these parts until mid-October. This should be gone in a couple of days however. 28 Chrysler
I feel for you. The highs in Vegas are now only in the double digits (30s C.) It is time to bring out the winter sandals.

John_S_in_Penna
Is a small, light September snowfall really rare in your part of Canada? Even parts of the northern United States can have one light snow in September. Even at the end of August, the low temperature can occasionally be 40 degrees in northern Pennsylvania. Thanks for sharing the experience from an area I haven't frequented.
capngrog
I can remember the western plains of Montana being coated with a light dusting of snow just after Labor Day. As I recall, this was in 1970(?). Another reason I live in Florida. Cheers, Grog
John_S_in_Penna
In Pennsylvania in 1816, ice formed on the Allegheny River ON THE 4TH OF JULY in "The Year Without a Summer." That was extremely abnormal, however, and affected a large part of the country very deleteriously: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_Without_a_Summer
