Dave Young
I finally got around to making a camo cover for the air filter on my '28 Chandler. A Folgers coffee can, some steel wool dipped in acetone and a shot of clear. Done.

Xander Wildeisen
A wise choice on the filter/cover. Depending on what roasted beans were in the can. Will determine the scent of the fine roasted blend of exhaust and fresh mountain coffee beans, coming out of the tail pipe. SC38dls
We use to put our C-rations on the exhaust manifold when I was in the army to heat them up. Never thought of doing the coffee. Lol dave s
JACK M
Some may know this. But when I was visiting Viet Nam a couple of years ago they sold weasel coffee. Seems the weasels would eat the beans, it didn't digest. The poop would be harvested and processed. Tasted pretty good. A local delicacy. I brought a few bags home for Christmas gifts with mixed responses. My son in law still has his.
60FlatTop
I know I am going to think of that engine picture next time I am lining up Phillips screw heads.
Dave Young
And yet she runs beautifully! When that vacuum tank came back from the rebuilder, the nice black paint on it looked way of place. I couldn't stand it, just the way some guys need to see all of the screw head heads aligned. The paint came off.

At least I know I'm not the only one who's OCD about such things. Phillips, slotted, hex heads all need to line up. It's about symmetry........ 28 Chrysler
I could have given you a period correct Hills Brothers coffee can, it might give a bit more torque for climbing grades.

60FlatTop
That Mrs. Olson picture reminds me of the Ozzie and Harriett Show. The Nelson's used to spend a summer week or two in western New York near me. I still remember the tomato wars with the boys; David, Ricky, and Willie.
