1947 Buick Roadmaster convertible

This 1947 Buick Roadmaster Convertible is a project car and if you are up for a challenge, this vehicle is for you. This car was dissembled for an off the body restoration, the motor was rebuilt but the car was never put back together. I have included photos of the "before project begins" and we also have an extra parts car that will go with this vehicle. We will consider any reasonable offer because we are selling this vehicle to settle an estate. Bryan, what tells you it is a '46?    Whatever year it is, that engine is a '48 or later 320.

48 engine at least, but not much later or it would have another round opening toward the front of block for an elbow connecting the water pump with side of block.

Gregg, I was not sure on the 320.  So makes it a '48 or '49.

Isn't the grill a 46?

 

I have a NOS 46 grill that when I have time I'm making a giant boom box out if it.

 

I took it that the vert is a 46?, RARE.

2,576 Roadmaster convertibles made for 1946, if this is a '46. Grille is certainly a '46. Engine is 48 or '49 as already noted. Too bad it's so far away...
