Pomeroy41144
I am thinking this is a Buick being polished by the Andrew Sisters. Is it?
keiser31
It DOES look like the Andrews sisters....no mistaking that blonde....
nzcarnerd
Looks to be a 1941 Limited. I wonder if those bumpers are a factory option. There don't seem to be many around with them. Most have a plainer items.Maybe this should be posted in the pre war Buick section.
Guest buickkuhn
Older than 1941 because the one woman is standing on the running board . !941 buicks no running boards .
Dave Henderson
I think the dashboard says it's a '41. It has accessory bumper tips. Edited January 14, 2015 by Dave Henderson (see edit history)

Mark Shaw
Those optional bumper tips are commonly called elephant ears...
Pomeroy41144
Door is open, she is not standing on a runningboardI agree, that is not a running board. Did any one notice the accessory luggage rack too?
Bleach
It's a '40. A '41 would have trim like this on the rear fender.
TG57Roadmaster
It's definitely a '41 for these reasons...They used that curvaceous body and C-pillar beginning in '41, the '40 Limited is vastly different.LargerYou can see the flare at the bottom of the rear door that covers the door sill (ex-running board).'40 Limiteds have huge honkin' running boards. It has '41 taillights and bumper extensions. The license plate was moved because of the trunk rack.Apparently you could get a Limited without the rear fender zoomies. Perhaps they were too "flashy"for the Limited's reserved clientele?IMCDb '41 LimitedsTG
Pomeroy41144
My father owned a 1941 Limited with no skirts but with the fender trim.
Bleach
I stand corrected. I didn't see the running board showing up so distinctly as in TG's photos. I know better about the distinctions between the two years. Thanks TG.
