Guest Paul Christ
Look very closely, can you find the glaring mistake on this restoration? (other than the missing hubcaps)Click to enlarge, and then scroll down for the answer................................

CarlLaFong
BTW, that is one of the worst restorations that I've ever seen;)
Guest AlCapone
I agree with 58Mustang ! It certainly does not look like it was done by a professional. There are restorations and there are restorations ! Wayne Edited March 23, 2014 by AlCapone (see edit history)

Dave Mellor NJ
While we're picking nits, the front molding is dented and the rear door molding is mis-aligned with the quarter panel molding
JACK M
I bet that owner of the first car is having just as much fun as you guys. Most people that pic others cars apart don't even have one of their own.Whats with the paint job on the 55 above? it looks to be three tone. How does that feel? CarlLaFong
^^^^No one's picking the car apart. Most of the comments have to do with the OPs post, calling it a "restoration".

Binger
Another thing to consider abut that "restoration" is it may have been done by a first time restorer and on a budget. Chrome is very expensive and that part may be coming when budget allows. Looks like a driver that someone is having more fun with than someone with a 100% perfect restored trailer queen!! Just My opinion.

Binger
I believe it was just about the Bel Air emblem being upside down. as the title of the thread says.
