30DodgePanel
Wow, haven't seen one of these for a while...That's a 1937 1 1/2 ton special order Green Moss Chassis. Very few were ever made with the built in DIY wiring. Gotta be rare !Mr. Moss had several plants, one in the NW and two in the swamps of Louisiana. I believe they are still in business and thriving in those locations. Don't scrap it, someone will need it (free bump ).Is that a Muncie SM420 I see in the wire ? JACK M
I can only guess that its the tranny that came out of this truck as it seems to be missing from the bellhousing. We would like to know what year etc. A guy could have this special order moss chassis for not much more than scrap value. Bill Harmatuk
32 - 35 Dodge , Desoto, Chrysler. Just a guess, with the rear axle, front axle, springs and motor, intake & exhaust.Worth saving for parts.Bill H.

Bleach
It would be fun to make it run and just drive it like it is around a field. Is the engine stuck?
keiser31
The wheels look to be about 1941 Chrysler product wheels, to me.
JACK M
I am sure that its a Chrysler product. But didn't know if the 15 inch wheels are stock.I would guess the BC would be 4 1/2 but didn't measure, if you want them give John a call as this is a scrapper neighbor of mine that lets me know when a Chrysler product shows up for scrap.I didn't check if the motor will turn so I would assume that its stuck as its been out in the Oregon liquid sunshine long enough for the moss to grow.John is a reasonable guy and if you offer only a bit more than scrap you could own it. But I doubt it will be available for long. You don't have to take the fence wire or other irrelevant junk.If you know just where I should look for a frame number and you are interested in buying I will go look for it. 1936 D2
Tubular shocks - late '30's. Corrugated rubber covers for U-Joints again late '30's. Should be able to date the heat riser valve because of it's shape. Carter B&B Carb. Pad for engine number seems ground down lower than the usual casting height. Engine number "RBM" - "Re Built Motor" possibly? Should be able to get some dating off the numbers on the starter tag.
Hudsy Wudsy
"Rebuilt Motor" was my first thought.
