PONTIAC1953
maybe we would have better luck catching the waves, if we put the surfboards under the wheels, and fasten them to the car, huh ?????

sambarn
So, not Funny but.... I love the car - almost no good examples of these rust prone Datsuns left and nobody and lord I pray nobody would be caught dead today in Daisy Dukes (the levi cut offs for those unfamiliar ) and knee high striped tube socks today. Even the most ardent dress to match your car vintage clothing nuts would pull that off. Great pic!!!
Dave@Moon
Quick side note, those wheel covers are not authentic. They are from a mid-70s Datsun B210. The Datsun 510s had much plainer, boring wheel covers and the B210 caps were often preferred. I had them on my 510 in college.
Shop Rat
.....and nobody and lord I pray nobody would be caught dead today in Daisy Dukes (the levi cut offs for those unfamiliar ) .....Actually those are not "Daisy Dukes", just run of the mill cut offs. "Daisy Dukes" were WAY shorter  and worn by girls.
sambarn
True the Daisy Dukes are shorter but I work in entertainment, specifically a lot of dance shows, and they (although quite disturbing) VERY popular with a certain flamboyant sector of the male population.
