  1. Here is one that I found on Ebay. Any Ideas? Auctiva Image Hosting
  2. Are the cables new as for a car with a 12 volt system, or heavier for a 6 volt system? If for a new 12 volt car, they might not be big enough. Many times for a 6 volt system it takes cables the size of welding cables to be big enough.
  3. I would not rule out the possible loose head bolt or leaking head gasket?
  4. Wheel/Rim for 1915 Buick<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <hr style="" size="1"> <!-- google_ad_section_start -->Want to buy a wheel for a 1915 Buick large car / truck. 6. WOW, That rivals a car that I saw a few years ago that had front disc brakes. The pads were totally gone and the rotor was worn down to the vents. No rotor surface left.
  7. I was at my local dealer and they were telling me of persons that traded in the "clunker" under the program for the government dollars instead of taking the money from the used car dept which was more. Some people just want to get it from the man I guess??
  8. I have been watching the show today and heard the comments. :-)
  9. Will this work? http://image.automotive.com/f/features/9105139+pheader/0705sr_01_z+1928_ford_roadster_pickup+right_side_view.jpg
  10. The cars are located near Flint. I will be going there hopefully this weekend and I will try to post some pictures. If you send me a pm with an email address to send to, I will more easily be sure you get them. Thanks
  11. Here is an article with some numbers of exotic and expensive cars that were turned in. Cash-for-clunkers gems: Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs and one infamous Bentley meet the end of the road: AutoWeek Magazine
  12. Cliff, Talked to a friend of mine that has a couple of Riv's and he said that he was looking for these wheels for his Riv in salvage yards and has never seen one. His only suggestion is to put up a saved search on ebay and he sees if one show up. He said that he sees one show up about once every two years..... unless you are lucky. Good luck.
  13. Typically the wood used in the bodies was what was available locally. In the Buicks from Flint, that would normally be oak, ash, maple. At one time Henry Ford owned vast forests in Michigan's upper peninsula to supply wood for his Model T and A, etc. I have never seen mahogany used in any cars unless it was a redo
  14. Do you have any picture of the rest of the car/parts?
  15. Maybe marine because of the coupling?
  16. #2 reminds me of the wiper motors in school buses in the early 60's
  17. The one place that I would try is NAPA auto parts. They have a catalogue that gives all of the dimensions including in and out pipe sizes. My local dealer was extremely helpful.
  18. If your ends are like my Buick car, the mufflers were called stove pipe mufflers and the two or three circles in the ends were the exact size for stove pipe. I purchased my black stove pipe at an older hardware store and cut to length. No further work needed, just assemble and tighten the end screws.
  19. It might be a Wheeler Schebler carb from Indianapolis. The patent number on yours and mine are the same. If you look up the patent number that is the company that it is assigned to. Here is the link for the patent. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/1536043.pdf Looks like one that is similar to a Model A, except yours does not have the accelerator pump. Here is a pix of a carb that I am planning on selling that I got in a package deal that I cannot use.
  20. Find a good anchor point and put big enough washers on both sides of the sheet metal where you are going to anchor them
  21. I have a 61 and 62 Corvair station wagons that I am looking to sell. The 61 is a parts car and the 62 can probably be restored. There are a bunch of extra parts that will go with the two cars along with other doors, etc.If you are interested, please message me.
  22. Do you have any pictures of what you want?
  23. Have you tried your local NAPA store? They usually have a lot of parts available. Here is a link to brake boosters for 1972 Chev 3/4 ton boosters. NAPAONLINE
