  1. You might try the Lubriplate website Lubriplate Products - Synthetics, Auto and Marine, Specialty Oils and Fluids for different types of oils & Greases. I purchased 600 wt gear lube for my truck transmission(spo-299). They have all kinds of lubricants for all applications.
  2. I would take it to a good alignment shop for starters. I good guess besides wrong toe in is that there is no caster in the front wheels. That will have it wanting to everywhere.
  3. If my memory is right there is a park position in the motor and it might be in the wrong position
  4. Thanks so much for the info. Would have never guessed.
  5. Can someone let me know what this tool is used for? Thanks
  6. Do you have one for a 1915 and 1917 Buick. Both 4 Cylinders. Thanks.
  7. I would say me too on purchasing a trailer. The two big expenses in my mind are the tires and keeping the wiring working. To help the tire issue, I try to take the tires off each winter and store inside. For the summer I put a cover over them to deflect the sunlight.
  8. You can purchase a circuit breaker at almost any auto parts store. I would get one and a fuse holder and install it where the old one should be,,, or as suggested closer to the power source/ battery. Total cost should be less than $10.00.
  9. I do not work for Stanley, but think about it. This tool was was made and sold before most of us were born and the persons that work currently at Stanley Works probably do not know that tool from a potato peeler if they even know what that is. Give them some time and they might still come through with an answer.
  10. This is probably in the same line as the previous answers, but to get the front off my 15, the holder for the crank needed to be completely off, the rear mounts loose or you can break the block, engine lifted on a jack, and I seem to remember a hard to see bolt(s) by the front of the pan that needed to be removed. Took a while to find everything, but it finally came off. Good luck
  11. The marking around the head lights look like a Buick mid 20's
  12. What kind of mass air flow sensor does it have? Is it attached to the intake, or is it black and round and in line with air cleaner to the intake? Also, a tech 1 or 2 is that scanner that GM has for vehicle diagnosis that will tell more than the codes in the car. It would tell the opeating data of the vehicle while it was running. The Tech 1 was for 1980 to about 1995 and the Tech 2 from about 1992 to 2009/10 It has been a long time, but I think that if you press off and warm at the same time that vehicle might have onboard diagnositics. You can scroll up and down the data list by pressing the temp up button.....I think
  13. Trying to remember. Does that car have passkey theft deterrent? If so I believe that that might be your problem. The key is not recognized and will start for a moment and then stop.
  14. I have one wrench that actually has the Buick script on it. There are other wrenches that are unmarked for the time.
  15. It looks like a center cap for the "wire wheel" covers in the 80's. Probably for a 88 model
  16. When you put the anchor washers in if you do, just be sure that they do not have any sharp corners. Rounded corners are good.
  17. Not a pick up truck on the second set of pictures. It might have been a commercial chassis,...maybe but I doubt it.
  18. Roger, I will need to get up to the car trailer and dig in the garage. I think that I still have some of that wood for that area. If I find it I will take some pix.
  19. Do you have a tech 1 or 2 scanner? One of the things that might be bad is the crank shaft sensor behind the crank pulley. Without a crank signal, the injectors will not fire. With a scanner you should be able to see a crankshaft revolutions.
  20. I would concur. Probably a 6 cyl based on the size of the lights
