MoPars of that vintage had a separate serial number than the engine number. Rarely did they use the engine number for identification. They used the serial number for identification. I believe Dandy Dave is correct on the location.
Steve...I just talked to my friend, Tom who goes up and down the west coast and he happens to be going down to Sacramento to deliver something soon and could swing through San Francisco to pick up the car you need hauled. Call him at (541)621-9013 or email him at sehloff_mopars@yahoo.com John
Somebody out there has some....perhaps languishing behind some ice cream factory, near the back fence. There used to be some along a back fence off of Interstate 75 in Madison Heights, Michigan (somewhere between 12 and 14 mile roads).
Anyone out there know what year and or make of car this dome/vanity light fixture may have come out of? The bezel is about 2 5/8" wide x about 4" long. Thanks.
Yes...I did notice the 1937 grill, but I was i.d.ing the car. I guess that since I pointed out the bumpers, I should have mentioned the '37 Dodge Brothers truck grill.

I could be wrong about them being aftermarket, but I have never see a car with those on it from the factory. If they are indeed factory items, I will learn something.
