  1. My SES light does illuminate just for the record.
  2. On my 1991 Cadillac. Has always run great. Hang a for sale sign on it and the engine runs rough, not drivable. The SES light comes on but no relevant current codes are stored. I thought when the service light comes on it stores a code. This happen to anyone else?
  3. I love stories with happy endings, so glad you got her back and all better.
  4. I would pull the codes to start out, why guess when the car is capable of telling you what is wrong. If there are no codes then I would start spit balling it. I am also concerned that coon may have put the evil eye on your car. You might want to Google "How to remove a curse."

    After market crisis, too funny!
  6. That is great news for Reatta enthusiasts!! I will definitely stop by that museum if I ever get the chance. Thank you for the update Barney!
  7. +On the original Car And Drive TV show review of the Reatta it gave it bad marks for the rear view mirrors. I personally find them acceptable but I am from the Italian school of driving, what's behind you does not matter!
  8. Looks pretty perfect from where I am sitting! Love the color, the the rims and wing, that car just works for me.
  9. LOl Makes me feel good they have a nice place to go when we are finished with them
  10. I like it, my only observation is the pinstripe should terminate at the front mirror and start again further back. What show are you going too? I could really use a good drive tomorrow.
  11. Interesting! Thanks for the info. For the record and if you would like to add, the last name is Kalivianakis and the mileage is 17,900.
  12. That dual exhaust is over the top!! Too bad they did not use it for production cars, it is spectacular!
  13. Wow Ronnie, never better! What a great detail job, impressive!
  14. My car is 900422-----database says: #* 'NO RECORD IN CF NO NO P S unk I am not sure what" #* 'NO RECORD IN CF NO NO P S unk this means but the car is mine and is in Arizona.
  15. Regarding Pace cars; I own two real deal Indy 500 Festival cars. 1 1970 and a 1974 Hurst/Olds. The race was indeed paced in 1990 by a Chevy Beretta and driven by Jim Perkins. Not sure if front wheel drive cars make for the best pace cars but I will save that argument for later! LOL Nice tribute car AZVet, looks good. As a side note, Corvette's paced the race in 1986 (great car) and again in 1995.
  16. On the Select 60, he originally listed the car for sale on this forum for $15,000. I was texting him when he dropped it to $8900 and he would not negotiate an inch. He also had photo's of two different select 60's posted on Craigslist. When I questioned him he said he made a mistake and accidently posted some photo's of his old select 60 which he had already sold. It concerned me. Seems in pretty rough shape for a car with 77000 miles. I would approach buying this car with a great deal of caution.
  17. If you can repair it yourself for $750 to a grand maybe best not to turn it into insurance. If your not sure how to fix it, get a couple estimates, if it's over $750 to a grand, maybe best to have the insurance co cover it. On a side note, I like the color with the red interior and color matching wheels, very nice.
  18. I was tracking your '88 Reatta on FB too, congrats! Looks like a real keeper, very nice. Tough call about driving it. I had a guy offer to sell me a 1975 Delta 88 last summer, a convertible. It has 540 miles on it, he owned a dealership and never sold it, never sold it. Just like you, what do you do with a benchmark car with so little miles? A good problem to have for sure, keep us posted!
  19. Too hot to have the top down. I took the '91 out for a drive, looks like I found the Lonely Mountain from "The Hobbit" in the back drop. 112 degrees outside and nice and cool inside.
  20. Going to be 115 today here in the desert, the Reatta will have to give way to the SRX for now
  21. Happy Independents Day to all my Reatta Forum members!! I am proud to say I love this country, love the flag and respect all who served to preserve and protect our country. God bless George Washington and his ragtag colonial army that, against all odds, defeated the greatest military at the time.
  22. Looks like a very nice car, congrats! You can't go wrong with RED!
