  1. Sounds like the low pressure switch may be bad. Its pretty easy to replace and you need not purge the system to change it. Check Reatta owners Journal for location.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. I will fix it today. Yes, it will be good to see if a great car like mine will get 20 grand.
  3. THIS AD HAS EXPIRED I just listed my car on Craigslist. Here us the link, will reduce the price for a forum member! https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/d/fountain-hills-1991-reatta-miles/7028121628.html
  4. I finally listed my reatta on Craigslist, here is the link: https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/d/fountain-hills-1991-reatta-miles/7028121628.html
  5. Rocket 350 engine rated at 310 HP. The optional 455 had 365 Hp. I also added TH 200 R transmission for the extra highway gear. It came with a limited slip 3.42 rear end gear with W27 differential cover.
  6. Will be picking up the car tomorrow. Off then to add pace car stripes!!
  7. Oh my, the count is actually 4. Claret red/tan 1990, blue/blue 1989 with sunroof and 16 way seat, 1991 vert white/red with white wheels and my current one. Another one in the future, if the past can predict the future, probably yes!!
  8. 1970 Pace Car, Oldsmobile. 3 year frame off restoration, car number 25 at the festival parade in 1970. Still need to add the stripes and other misc items but coming home finally.
  9. I really need the garage space so I am in need of letting go of my 1991 Reatta. Please check out my ad. I will still be a forum member for life!
  10. I am getting a 3 year restoration back from the body shop and need to clear a space in my garage. Up for sale is a real special time capsule Reatta. This car is perfect, everything works properly. It has been in collectors ownership from the get go. With only 18000 miles, it is barely broken in. It has all the paperwork included, lots of interesting documents, window sticker and also the owners folio. Will be listed on Hemmimgs next week for $22,500. Will sell to a forum member for $19500. This is the one time you can have the best.

    Funny!!! πŸ˜†
  12. I like many European cars. My favorite however is the one in my garage. 1991 Jaguar XJS Convertible, Classic Collection. It has V 12 power and a terrific touring suspension like our beloved Reatta's.
  13. I agree with Y-jobfan. Lets not say goodbye, see ya later!
  14. Just to keep up on the numbers, the last time I talked to John Young he only had 1 unregistered convertible.
  15. I think anything that adds to a cars uniqueness makes it more collectible. And, documenting the history is crucial for car collectors.
  16. Www.leatherique.com look for rejuvenation oil and Prestine cleaner. It's a bit pricey but it really really works. A warning from the company: strongly advise against saddle soap, as it has been known to remove the dye from the leather. Avoid products that contain petroleum or mineral oils, as they cause leather fibers to rot prematurely. If your dye is worn away, call about our simple to use Leatherique Leather Dyes. Our cleaner and conditioner have a capillary action. The proteins, cleaners, and conditioners find their way deep into the pores of the leather and force out the dirt, perspiration, air pollution, unnecessary oils, and other toxins that destroy the fibers of the leather, destroying its strength and flexibility, and causing it to deteriorate. For tough, heavier stains, we do make leather cleaner to remove the stain from the surface of the leather. The remainder of the stain will need to be β€œfloated” out of the leather with Rejuvenator Oil. Badly stained surfaces probably need to be re-dyed. Call, email, or fax your specific Leather care questions to us anytime. October 24, 2008
  17. Oh, before anyone mentions it, the original floor mats are stored and only displayed at car shows.
  18. Thanks Ronnie! I am proud of the fact the drivers seat looks so good. In most cars, like Reattas and Corvettes, that's always the spot that first shows the age if the car. I am a fanatic about treating the leather on a regular basis.
  19. A welcome artic blast hit Arizona today, it was only 103 degrees. So, get out the sweaters and take the Reatta for a well deserved trip. Its a real joy to drive, I can't wait till the fall. The AC blew cold too, a nice bonus inspite of the cold weather πŸ˜†. I applied leatherique to the seats two weeks ago and removed it today. The seats are as soft and supple as when new.
  20. There certainly is a consensus that the Reatta Owners Journal is a valuable tool for Reatta owners. It is good for both owners and the future of our rare cars to have so much information gathered in one convenient location. It may be true that the best things in life are free, but running a website is not one of them. It costs money. I just kicked in. To make it easy, here is a link to the donation page. I hope everyone can contribute a few bucks to show our appreciation πŸπŸπŸ™‚ http://reattaowner.com/roj/component/content/article/198-uncategorised/256-support-reattaowner-com
  21. I use it and appreciate it being there. If the software upgrade requires a financial investment please put pen to paper and let us know how much Is needed. Then we post a fundraising thread with a link to your donation page. We can all count together to see how long it takes to get there. Not long I suspect. 😁
  22. It was most likely my car but it was a 1991 with white wheels and a red interior. I loved that car! I like the white seats and other white touches in the ss60. I find the interior spectacular and truely unique.
  23. Since the 1990 SS60's were such a low production car you do not see many for sale. It seems to me as a person that checks every now and then, the ones for sale are generally in excess of 80,000 miles. I wonder how many of these cars ended up as collector cars with low miles? Does anyone have a clue how many out out there in cream puff condition. I my humble opinion that was the most striking Reatta ever built. I was looking for one when I bought my 1991 Convert with 17000 miles but the only one available was the one in San Diego which is still for sale. Thoughts? Like a C2 Corvette, I would really like to own a Select 60, that are just beautiful cars. 🏁
