  5. In NY , without any paperwork , if you have had the car in your possession 12 months or more ,you will be given a temp. registration. After several weeks you get in the mail permanent papers if no problem is found . Very easy and cheaper that what some of these advertisers want for old obsolete papers.
  6. Dave , 1931-32 Auburns used a 37 inch trunk rack, FYI. Mike
  7. The DARK SIDE is FRAUD. People buy them and register a car the same year and model as they have when they don't have papers. The kicker is like in NYS , every year a new registration card is issued and there are chances that another car is "out there" already licensed with those same #s. Its foolish to pay that money for a old document and take the chance of trouble. I know of an example where a collector changed the #s on his car to match the old papers he bought only have the DMV alert the police that either his car or the other one that showed on their computer was a fraud.
  8. Why does anyone want these old titles or registrations without the car??? Please tell me. Its so easy to register a car today without any previous paperwork.

  19. I bought 20 years ago a clean original 1932 8-100A sedan .Im the papers that came with the car was a original red tag just like the one pictured here . It had a twine string attached . I reproduced these tags so other owners could have one for their car if they wanted one. They were printed at Engler Printing in Ohio and was told this tag hung from the dash when the cars were delivered new. I just ran onto another bunch of these tags in my office and am selling them $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00 postpaid. (I pay the shipping) The quality is perfect and they are the exact size from new. They are made from heavy card stock like the original. Mike West 100 West ave , Livonia , NY 14487 Thank you.
