  1. I had a few of my very clever and funny posts deleted without warning or reason. I will stay down in BuickLand. Hell, (yes I said Hell) I didn't even go up to your link. Sounds like Dale was stirring though.
  2. Don't de-chrome it Mark. Everything else, ok.
  3. Hey DeuceMan, Welcome to the forum. You don't need to post in each sub-forum everytime. It is just going to confuse everybody. This question should be in Post-War only. This Me and My Buick sub-forum would be where you would show us pictures of your project and maybe a little about yourself.
  4. You might be able to find those hoses from a Vette supplier, but that seems like a lot of pain for little gain.
  5. I absolutely get both sides too, Willis. My point was that often times someone will ask how to modify something in this section and everybody starts busting BB's. Most everybody knows me here. I drive old cars. Some are bone stock. Some a little modified. Some even more. I agree with Keith above when he mentions workmanship. Quality workmanship transcends all else. A solid idea is second. If your modification doesn't make your car better, then your money is wasted. Then you are just a big dummy.
  6. I would have guessed that being a tin woodie, but details certainly help. TW, I think you just need to figure out how many of each size clips and order a range of them. That is what I have done in the past. Sometimes I get lucky. Sometimes I have to order more due to incorrect size. On a mid-50's Buick, they are all kinda sorta similar. Just different sizes. The kinda sorta does not apply to 53 Skylarks from what I have heard, but I don't recall hearing about any 53 Skylark Wagons.
  7. I just sent you an email. My son Woody will be coming this year and wants to participate.
  8. Mostly between the slab and cinder blocks. A little from under the garage doors. They built a McMansion within five feet of the property line which sent a lot of flow my way, in addition to the sloped roof in my direction. Ah...yuppies
  9. We desperately need the rain, for sure. Lake Travis is still only at 64% full. Too many big lake houses out there drawing their water from Travis will drain it eventually. I am fortunate to have a giant exhaust fan, a west facing 16' garage door, a 24" floor squeegee and a break in the rain for a day at least. Houston, Wimberly and LaGrange got hammered even worse than us and the news keeps saying "historic" in Austin. At least I still have green grass in late May...
  10. Why would anybody be pissed or want to debate if they were already looking at the Performance / Modified section of this forum? If this forum offends you, don't come here. It's really easy. I have never been on the Opel forum because it doesn't interest me. I haven't gone on AACA General in a looong time due to attitudes that don't align with my personal ideas. It doesn't bother me that those forums are available to the people who get their free entertainment there. That would be silly. Just sayin'
  11. I think the weld beads mean the car was assembled in Arlington, Texas. That seems to show up once in a while. (Not joking.)
  12. I was fortunate not to have too much actual damage, but there was a lot of water in my garage this morning.
  13. Yeah, that auction is very misleading.
  14. Black. And make sure they aren't supposed to be 5/8"
  15. Surfing on phone without glasses reads "$2,000 or less." If anybody brings a gift valued at $2k, it will still be left on the table for a bottle of decent booze.
  16. Well of course. A princess would only drive a Roadmaster. Just sayin'
  17. That's weird Ben. I'd call em at this point:
  18. Or a number. I have 55 and 56 322's here. Only have 55 Dynaflows, but you have that covered.
  19. These? http://m.ebay.com/itm/310491596286?nav=SEARCH
  20. Thanks, but I don't know anything about Bernie's heart. (+1 on Flattop's quote above.)
