  1. She's a BEAUTY!!! Love those original condition unmolested types. Welcome aboard.
  2. You could have seen another at Ames if you'd known where to look. It was in a box in the Landau trailer. I bought it from Bill Bicknell and he delivered it to me there. It will be going in the little Texas Pete Special someday.:cool:
  3.:( why did you have to bring up the Sportwagon. I miss my little 65 too!!!! :(
  4. Oh and Wes, I can sympathize with you re the 2 door also. I love my Riviera.
  5. Actually Wes, I think the car I miss the most is a lil 4 door Century I sold several years ago. A feller at a parade offered me way more than it was worth and at the time I was looking at another Roadmaster so I took him up on it. I have since bought a 4 door blue special but it just ain't the same as MARILYN Of course I also miss Irene and Fittysix and Breeze and .....
  6. That's some great news Pete. I actually like the greens of the early fifties and would encourage you to stay with the Kashmir green. I think you will be VERY happy when it is all done and the chrome back on and shining. But here's something to play with to get an idea of what some different colors could look like. Just go down and click on the colors to change the colors on the car. 1954 Buick Highway - Style your 1954 Buick Century Riviera Uhhhh Jim, Beach White is a new one on MrE for '54 Buick's. Arctic White and it's code was 2 or B for a top color is the only white I know of for '54. I'm thinking you meant 1952 maybe? But again I vote for Kashmir Green...with Dante Red wheels
  7. Rich, have you pulled the inspection plate and checked the gears on that rear end yet. If these things are left to sit, over the years, they are prone to condensate and the water goes to the bottom and pits the gears BAD. With as much rust as you describe on the rest of the car, I'd be very cautious. Hope it turns out ok for you.
  8. Buick nailhead OIL GALLEY kit 264-322-364-401-425 - eBay (item 360316264587 end time Feb-01-11 09:46:56 PST)
  9. 54 and 55 are the same as you posted Mud. They become severely deformed and brittle. The 56's are flat and retain their shape. I may have some 56's, I'll need to dig in the barn to find them though.
  10. Dan, I know of a '54 Skylark project that is about 75% complete. The owner has done an outstanding job to this point. Let me know if interested.

  14. Somebody needs to learn how to close the door up there, apparently it's been left wide a** open for the last 2 months. But we had a white Christmas due to it so I guess it's not too bad. Problem is, it's still hangin around as seen in the patio picture. So if you'd please shet the door so it will melt, we'd appreciate it.
  15. Dale, Please be sure to check out the 1954Buick.com web site and forum. We also have a registry there for 1954 Buicks and would appreciate your adding your car to it. The Lido Green over Baffin Green is a nice combination. Look forward to seeing this beautiful car.
