Looks like 2 hours and 17 minutes.

Thanks. The guys over on HAMB were quick to ID it as a '56 Hudson front fender simulated air intake scoop thing..:.

It looks like Auto- Lite. That seems to point it one direction. Any ideas?

Thanks. Perhaps it did come off the car in the woods. At least the glove box door will live another day!

Ok, the right side is a 6-volt clock. The left side is a revolving ball, plain steel on one side ; and a chrome half sphere on the other side- possibly an ash tray. Any idea?

Over 1 inch thick, full of great information and illustrations. Outside cover is faded, but inside pages are clean and crisp. A book you'll use and won't mind getting it a little dirty. $20 gets it delivered to your mailbox, providing you live in the USA. PayPal, personal check, whatever. Send pm to reserve. Thanks.

The asking price on the Diamond-T sign was $2900. The reverse side had more wear from the weather- but it was huge and nice.

We went Thursday thru Sunday. Looking for '41-'46 Chevy truck parts. Bought more items than any year I can recall. There were very few empty spaces largely due to introductory special for new vendors. There are a large number of 'social' vendors who were having a great weekend with their friends while cleaning out the garage- but maybe that's a good thing. We had no issue with traffic as the years have taught us how to drive around the backups. We had a great time at the Autofair, but you come 'home' to Carlisle to really appreciate the facility and the great job the CE folks do . If you like pre-war, you would have spent a few minutes looking at the International postal truck. And I really wish I could have carried the Diamond -T sign home!

Friday turned to be a wonderful day. Bright sunshine and gentile, if a bit chilly, breezes. Saturday looks to be a blustery affair. Maybe more like Soring Carlisle!

We are staying at the Springhill Suites at Charlotte University Research Park, just south of the track at the intersection of 85 and 24- arriving Thursday afternoon. We will have 2 extra 4-day passes that we can move along to another AACA member at a huge discount. Send a PM if interested.

Weather looks good. The Ag Center is a great facility; and the SMR makes great food. We're taking a whole load of stuff that we typically only sell at Hershey. You better check this one out!

Studebaker York Swap Meet approaching
greenie replied to starlightcoupe's topic in Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne
I've been there on Saturday and most of the vendors were still there- although they start packing up at noon. This year, the weather threatens to be nice- which is really not typical. We are going Friday- and then Saturday is the Chesapeake Region parts meet at West Friendship,MD. Oh, and also on Friday there is a petrolina (gas& oil) show at Frederick, MD Fairgrounds. Expensive stuff, like a free museum. Hope you have a great time wherever you wind up. -

I think you're living on the edge. I love my wife dearly, but I would never entrust her with something so important. -

New TV Show! This Saturday Night! Don't Miss!

If nothing else, the background scenes in episode one were a kick: Carlisle, Hershey, the Museum- all very familiar sights. As for episode two, the car storage building in NJ for rich kids was a hoot. Imagine the monthly fee for some guy to pamper your million dollar baby! What these shows do well is to illustrate the great diversity of the car hobby. -
Happy 75th Birthday to the Pennsylvania Turnpike!

I'll second the PA State tree. And for some reason the prospect of a major car show seems to evoke major road construction. (or at least the major implementation of orange cones). -
Jason: the sign is yours and you can pick it up at my space at Hershey 2016. Thanks Rob, Gene
