  1. Please ID this steering wheel. Sorry about out the other one behind it. Thanks!
  2. Complete set of 4 issues for 1955. Includes coverage of the new show in Hershey. Great reading and great condition. Free shipping to the USA. Price is $25. Send PM to reserve. PayPal, personal check, whatever you wish.
  3. Great pair of hood trims. Straight, solid. Have most of the original red detail paint remaining. $75 for the pair. Can help with delivery from SE PA (Gettysburg) area to Rockville, MD and any place nearby. Shipping would be really expensive and dicey at best with the current state of the various shipping options. Will hold for free delivery to Spring Carlisle.
  4. Pretty accurate. The building is too small and the weather too cold, although a few brave souls set up outside. Perhaps a proxy for “Winter Carlisle”- the hobby would support a larger event at a better venue.
  5. I got chocolate (with almonds) for my loving wife- who helped me get my trailer in place on Tuesday; and didn’t gripe about being apart on our 28th anniversary- which arrived on Saturday October 13- just as it was in 1990.
  6. Car, truck, household appliance????? Any ideas?? Thanks!
  7. Yes! After spending Tuesday thru Friday in my vendor spaces selling vintage Chevy/GMC truck parts- I had to take a break to meet my sons along RT 39 and guide them onto the swap meet field. As we negotiated the late afternoon browsers in the Green field, my youngest son spotted an NOS front fender for our ‘46 GMC pickup. I had walked past the spot at least 3 times and the fender wasn’t there. The seller had arrived late or didn’t display the thing until Friday afternoon. We quickly parked and walked back to his space. The negotiation was quickly concluded. You CAN find anything at Hershey- providing you are at the right place at the right time!
  8. His signs are out along RT 15- just opposite Latimore Valley. It’s on.
  9. Looks like great weather for Friday and Saturday. We plan to keep our vendor spaces open until noon on Saturday. Today was wet and slow after a rocking Wednesday. This gentleman left happy on a Wednesday afternoon- his makeshift rickshaw loaded down with a grille, two wheels, five hubcaps, and two rear fenders. He hopped on the thing and peddled away- satisfied that his trip from Ontario, Canada to Hershey, Pa was a success. Things you only see in Hershey.
  10. I hate when the weather man is right.
  11. I think it was carefully crafted to avoid angering Cadillac’s patent attorneys!
  12. About 3.5 inches in diameter. No DUCKS?? Brass. Back stamped “5142”, “B” Any ideas?
  13. Unique design, allows you to read RPM’s , either in high gear- or in overdrive !?! I would guess 1934- 1938- but that’s just a guess. Anyone know? Thanks.
  14. For those of us who collect such things, we will have our “extra” Hershey Dash Plaques and the Anniversary Medallions for sale or trade- in our vendor spaces in the Green Field. GAI 18-19, near the car corral- look for light post 118. Tuesday afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Look for our enclosed trailer that says: “ Art-Deco Delights- 1941-46 Chevy/GMC Parts”.
  15. Nice pair of dash clocks. Not tested and most likely not running. One missing fuse cover. You get both for $50 plus $13.70 shipping by Usps priority mail. Free delivery to Hershey an option. Send pm if interested.
  16. The trailer is loaded and ready for Hershey 2018! Hopefully our weather will settle down just a bit. Our plan is to arrive on Tuesday and set up Wednesday morning through Saturday noon. Look for us in the green field at spaces GAI 18-19, under light post 118. We are bringing rear and front fenders, windshield frames, windshield cranks, runningboards, gauge clusters, headlight assemblies, and plenty more. See you in Hershey!
  17. NOS and NIB. Leech-Neville model 4862-FS. Tested and works fine. $75 with free shipping to the US. Pick up in my Hershey space and get a $10 rebate!
  18. AC cable number CC-5. New in box. See application chart in picture. $35 plus $13.70 shipping to the US. Can deliver to Carlisle or Hershey and save you the shipping.
  19. A few antiques there and more than a few cars with AACA badges. Was a good place to escape the rain for a few hours. The cars are spread throughout the complex, segregated by the day the will sell. Make sure you explore all the different sections to see all the cars. There are not enough seats in the auction arena, so walk in spectators may not be happy with the seating arrangements. We spent 4 hours there today looking at the cars; and then drove home and watched the auction in the DVR!
  20. Look on YouTube under “Hershey flooding”. There is a drone video showing RT 39 at Swatara Creek. The area of the ill fated “yellow field”, looks a bit ....wet. There is also a video of the 2017 Fall Meet by a group that calls itself “Aeraflix”- interesting drone video shot over the swap meet field and the Saturday car show. Hopefully they won’t repeat their stupidity in 2018.
