  2. Hey Econo,I believe the HOLDERS are for mounting on your license plate or frame for same.I personally would not mount the badge anywhere else. You could use stainless screws and nuts to hold the badge to the holder.diz
  3. Dear Frisco,I am not sure what you mean when you describe rolling when sitting still??The leaning when cornering is the nature of the beast with transverse mounted leaf springs. You will have to disconnect the shock arms to see if they offer any resistance in either direction, they can be rebuilt.NO mysterys here, same as a Model A,springs, shocks and shock links and that is it,HOPE this info helps you out.diz

  5. I agree with everything Mark mentioned just wanted to add the plastic ramp someone makes to aid in the removal of a flat tire from a trailer with dual axles.Sure coulda used it that day in the rain on Rt.79 outside of Pittsburgh with the 39 Zephyr coupe in the 24' enclosed trailer and my GOOD 5 ton floor jack that wasn't even thinkin about pickin the left side up.If your lucky you will never need it but the time you do NOTHIN works better.diz

  13. Hey Ray,I do not know how carried away you want to get with your parts replacement[correctness]???I believe correct dated glass can be obtained from Saunders in Oregon.Depending how you want to fix your floor, correct pans can be bought from Paul Bradley in Noth Carolina.I think the Zephyr uses the same football shaped stainless clad bolt as a V8 Ford.Hope this helps.diz
  14. Hey,Just looking for some opinions of a very nice HPOF and Rouge award winner VS a frame off restored car, just to clear things up i am talking about comparing the same year make and model..30,000 miles mostly original paint, original interior and the back seat looks like it was never sat in.Flaking paint on the underside and engine compartment with NO rust anywhere.Starts and goes down the road like a 30,000 mile car should.Chrome, stainless, and all woodgraining, dash and garnish moldings are excellent and original.Which car do you believe to be more desirable and why?,Thanks for any and all input and yes i know they are only original once but does that add to the value or detract?diz
  15. Hey Mark and Nancy,Welcome,You may get more action on your request if you go to the front page of this site, scroll down to the Buick section and try posting there.Take Care.diz
  16. Dear Ron,I cannot answer your questions ,i just wanted to tell you what a GREAT car you have. The shapes of the radiator shell, hood and cowl to the semi boat tail, the port hole top to the shape of all the fenders to the large diameter of the wheels. What is the correct name for the JUMP seats? Those doors look awful narrow, can't be easy to get in and out. What a great car to take a trip in,put a couple of cases of your favorite adult beverage in what i believe is the rumble seat and it is easily accessed from either jump seat.SUPER car,THANKS for the pics. diz
  17. Dear Dane,The biggest hurdle you have is the fact that nobody likes to drag their junk out of hibernation this time of year.Good Luck.diz
  18. Dear Dick,To answer your two questions....yes and yes.Same deal with my 62,you can do some tweaking to make em BETTER.Talked to a guy who had a Top Flight 62 and his were the same and he also told me he had a 62 in 62 and they were bad from the factory.diz

  22. Dear Dan,[OLD SCHOOL]I know Summers Brothers of "Goldenrod" Bonneville Salt Flats fame built a front drive cover for a Chevrolet.Very popular piece as it allowed you to move the engine back against the firewall in a drag car.[NEW SCHOOL] MSD makes a belt driven front mount unit.diz
  23. Dear Wayne,Sounds like that Vette of yours is a REAL pain.I COULD take it off your hands, think of the load off your mind,i'd bet you would even sleep better. Please advise.diz
