There is And why would you say that? Just because car is low mileage doesn't mean it will be pristine, I have seen cars with this low mileage needing to be hauled off to the junkyard. There is something under the hood that is an extrememely good indicator that this is original low mileage. If you look at the vacuum advance and hose to it you will see it painted red, that was seen on original 72's and is a documented oddity and has been noted in the BCA national judging. Your claim is based on nothing

Hardtop convertible, now that's a new one for describing a sunroof

This might sound silly, but did you try a different tape? Old tapes often seize up

I drove one on a tour about 20 years ago

I'm the opposite, I love the condor yellow, black and red especially on a Century = move over, I have arrived

Possibly Terry B. Dunham

The wheel well moldings really looks out of place on this car the way it is set up, probably a J C Whitney type place.

It was crystal clear

It did very well Adam as it should have

Those are the hubcaps, the wheel covers shown in the first one were optional and I believe in the accessory package. There was also a wire wheel cover as an option for the Special that had the crest versus the V like the big series

I have heard that figure in the past as well, and I that number is crazy for a pricey 2 seater with a smaller target market

Agree Murray, none of my Reatta convertibles have been stricken with the shake and rattling. I have owned quite a few other high end convertibles and many of them show far more shake. Even something as obvious as air pressure in tires can make a huge difference in cowl shake if it's off. Many people assume the Reatta convertible was just a roof chop to add some life to the line

The green coupe is an Electra

"Tone it down" - flawlessly stated

The owner has had that one since 1973, It's also a BCA Senior car. Of interest, they made more 4 door hardtops than 72 Centurion conv & formal coupes combined plus

Beautiful example anyone should be proud to own

Original production numbers were not huge which also hampers finding one, there was a fraction of formal coupes built in comparison to LeSabre coupes. sales of Centurions were closer to the sales of Wildcats of the later years. Also cars cars of that era got traded off quicker due to the gas crunch and didn't stay in the hands of the original owners as long so hit the used car market quicker and entered an era where cars were disposable and with the huge shift in style of cars from GM in 77 the early full size 70's cars became obsolete much quicker than in earlier years. Unfortunately over the years lots of them were raped for their 455's for people wanting to upgrade their Skylarks into fake or poor man muscle cars. At least the remaining coupes are desirable if nice and won't meet that same fate.

It should do well, it's rare that a nice clean unmolested example comes to market and especially comes to market marketed well
