  1. Unfortunately having parking lights added later in life wasn't unheard of, it gave owners a more updated look and some owners just wanted the at the time cool new feature. Be a big deduction in judging but at least they are done with original Buick parts so they look correct to everyone that doesn't know 67's
  2. Were you the first titled owner? If you bought it from GM you probably were the first titled owner
  3. Frame rot for sure, make sure you check the underside both frame and floors, trunk floor for rot.
  4. It was also in Detroit for the international auto show the year it was debuted, I have seen it in both the Blue and the dark red and it looked better in the blue. Wasn't it at the 50th annv of the BCA under the Buick tent?
  5. If your radio is slow there is still obviously an issue with it, I have a 2020 Envision Premium 2 with every possible option and have zero issues with navigation, radio, or turning off warning alerts I don't care to hear. Again, why have you not Lemon Lawed it instead of dealing with it?? The fault lays directly in your lap for putting up with it and not following through with the Lemon Law. I couldn't imagine sitting around doing nothing about it. I have a driven couple of them and several of the same Regals in rental fleets and have had no issue with radio or controls.
  6. That is a range that they have definitely sold for in the past so I would say they are still in that range. I think there were a fair number of people that bought them as a perceived investment. I also do believe some bought them for their personal Reatta collection even if they didn't own a SS. I don't own one now but if the right one ever came along I would have another one. I bought the emblem I have now as a backup in case anything happened to the one I had and when I sold the car the badge I had for it went with it. The $3500 is ludicrous
  7. I would say $500-$1000, there are several people out there that are sitting on several each and there are a fair number of us that have one tucked away. It's all about supply and demand and there were probably more hood ornaments than cars and after all these years the number of people that have an SS of either 88 or 90 are dwindling and the number that have one and don't have a SS hood badge for their car is dwindling. I would assume the unfinished ones that I believe Steve had finished would have even been in the count of the ones produced or just some that were popped out
  8. Thankfully for Buick, the TourX has overall excellent ratings and reviews and are totally opposite of your experience, you obviously got a lemon as far as issues and not sure why you have put off Lemon Law activity, as far as not being able to figure things out, well, that's just on the operator and suggest you buy an older car that you can handle
  9. I want every bit of new tech possible squeezed into my daily drivers - mine does everything for me except go to that bathroom lol
  10. But you failed to mention the 600 plus changes needed for the American market for the Cascada, that’s a whole lot more than badge changing, of course there were safety issues to be addressed for the American market but also suspension changes, option changes and interior comfort changes.
  11. While they share platforms with some other models( and please remember platform or body has happened for 70 years), they are hardly rebadged, infact they are probably less rebadged now than they were in the 80 and 90's
  12. That's my guess who's selling it, I'm pretty sure he was the one that bought several stamped blanks and had them "finished" - I am sure this is one of those
  13. You do realize GM owns Daewoo, if you look around there are a ton of Enclaves, Envisions, Envision GX(soon to be added), Encore and Encore GX on the road, the Regal will be back in 2023/2024 as well. The car in the original post is the Avista and was shown heavily around the US auto shows, it is not being built anywhere
  14. Lots of them get out without being painted though, I owned a Mary Kay Allante for years
  15. The finish on the eBay one appears to be painted on like it has been redone. It sticks in my mind that someone had bought some that were unfinished and had them done a done many years ago. Even the colored center looks odd, here is my NOS one to compare.
  16. Anyone else see this? Anyone care to comment on the ornament? Not as far as the application of it or the history but as to this emblem itself https://www.ebay.com/itm/313393789192?ViewItem=&item=313393789192
  17. The quality and weight are surprising on these, the base in my opinion doesn't fit the quality of the pewter Reatta'
  18. That was or still might be on of ElectramanRobs, wrong year wire wheel covers on it. If it's his or was his you can count on it being really nice
  19. Looks like a really nice car and looks looks like in the 80's it much have been a really successful show car by the AACA national award badges on the grill. I will note there appears to be a color mismatch on the right side between the quarter and the door
  20. So what are these going for now?
  21. I think is is one that was advertised even earlier in another post that had the passenger seat shown, it has a 16 way seat on the driver side and a standard seat on the passenger side, so something has been changed around at some point
