  1. Thanks Barney for the input.
  2. I just replaced my compressor on my 90. I used a Murray. MRY 58967
  3. That car has literally zero rust. My guess is it spent too much time outside in colorado. The uv rays are a bit stronger there because of the elevation. It’s a good price other than that wheel bearing issue.
  4. Lol you hate the Reatta but you want to restore this one? Lol that doesn’t really make sense! Reattas are addicting because they are quirky and unique. I love them.
  5. The Lesbare T Type had the same rims. You might be able to find some and then have to get the caps separately. It will probably be a lot easier to buy a set of used rims and have them doctored a little bit. The man at the BCA meet in Lisle with the one refinished rim for sale told me he was unhappy with the refinishing because once they finished the process, the cap did not sit flush on the rim any more as too much material had been ground down from the rim. There is a really nice set of chrome ones somebody had done up that you'll see around from time to time in photos. I have a parts car I'd be willing to sell some original rims from or maybe trade.
  6. I was looking at power steering pumps and it looks like the Allante used the same pump set up as the Reatta. In addition to the struts people talk about on here.
  7. Dave, are you coming to Dave McIntosh's presentation next weekend? I'll be there. I'm debating whether or not to drive a Reatta or my Accord.
  8. I want to get everything fixed on this car and keep it as my fun weekend car. AC, power steering and one of the brackets on the headlights is broken, freeze plugs leaking coolant. I could kick myself pretty dang hard for selling my silver 88 last year as it ran perfectly and had no mechanical issues.
  9. I'm not convinced that is a Select 60. But I do think that there is something odd about our knowledge of the serial numbers and x22 code which doesn't make sense. It makes no logical sense to produce cars asynchronously in a run like this if the sixty cars between 901060 and 901120 are sixty, non sixty. How would that add up to sixty cars that are select sixties? It absolutely cannot. It is mathematically impossible. Plus, there were actually sixty five cars in the 1990 Select Sixty program. The majority of the coupes I have seen that have survived do NOT have the sixteen way seats. Most are the standard seats.
  10. Lol, I'm just prejudiced against old sunroofs Padgett. You're a brave man putting your Reatta thru an auto car wash. I have never done it.
  11. check this out. This is from the database. It says 901060 was the first Select Sixty. Jake, would it make any sense to not make the select 60s in a continuous run? That doesn't really make sense to me. The missing X22 code is troubling but I don't see any logic behind them not making the S60's in a continuous/synchronous run.
  12. No sunroof on the car. I probably wouldn’t buy a sunroof car unless it was pristine.
