  6. IFDPete, I have been following your journey with the Buick for some time now. I experienced a similar crack in my 1920 K 45 and found a source of cast welding in Nevada, Iowa. Company is Midwest Cylinder Repair. They did and excellent job of welding my block and bored and sleeved two holes for me. 1700 W F Ave Nevada, IA 800-873-8506 talk to Tim. They do large heads off tug boats for the great lakes along with over the road semi-tractor and farm tractor repairs. They bring the item up to temperature, weld it and the cool back down over several days. They are usually about 2 to 3 months out on turn around. GREAT people!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Another guy to try al suehring 715 677 3809 in wisconsin
  8. Kamil, if you have a 13 Cadillac, the wiring is totally different than the 12 wiring diagram. The 12 uses two distributors and a two wire system. The 13 has only one distributor and uses the frame as a ground. However, they both use the same rotor, distributor cap and point set. The contact plungers are made of a good grade of steel, not carbide. The resistance unit you are looking for is a ceramic unit that was used by Delco equipped systems from 1912 to 1915. I have those units available for sale. (see picture) Tom
  9. I have NOS ignition parts for the 28 Essex
  10. Power Wagon Dude, thank you for the reference on Dodge Bros ignition parts. Yes I have a fair supply of points, rotors and dist caps for Dodge from 1916 through the 60's. Regarding Ben McAdam, Ben passed away in 2017 shortly after I purchased his entire inventory and vending trailer. Ben was a good friend and a wonderful source of information. We talked almost once a week before he passed. As Power Wagon Dude said in his post, "Advice - If someone has what you need - Don't 'quibble' on the price - BUY it NOW!! The supply of this stuff is drying up fast.

  15. Mine came on Thursday, I'm starting to pack the trailer. Several people have PMed me with specific requests for hard to find ignition parts which we have already loaded. We will also have several of the new gorgeous Delco type early twist and lock four cylinder caps available. C4N 30-32
  16. Pictures of the NOS Delco twin 6 rotor. Has "2 spark, 6 cyl" on the rotor. At one time during the late 20s and thru the 30s there were 10 different twin rotors or as some call them the "batwing" rotors. Autolite had 4 of them and Delco produced 6 of them. Least I forget, DeJon also had a twin rotor that was used on some of their 1927 -1929 models.
