The company used 3.1-litre side-valve Sommers four-cylinder engines, and acquired that company in 1915. The 1920 Allen 43 was a handsome craft, featuring bevel-sided touring coachwork and a high-shouldered radiator. Unfortunately, sales of this vehicle were not enough to avert the company's bankruptcy, which followed in 1921. Willys acquired what little was left.[1] Overall, 20,00 vehicles were sold.

It was ordered by Clark Cadillac Co. in Portland Oregon May,13th 1931, and delivered June 17, 1931. The car was ordered in Maharajah Maroon with dual side mounts, wire wheels, and goddess hood ornament to name a few.

  9. I have a 41 knucklehead, I carry a rope and some tools, automatic chain oiler too ! AMF stomped accelrator to floor on production resulting in .... yep The CB750 was a smooth, reliable motorcycle, making everything else look like dinosaurs, I have a few of these too. I bought my first H1 last fall, parked in 82, resting for 38 years, need a lot of work, running now, waiting for Michigan dmv to come back to life.
  10. 1919 was last year for leaf spring fork. 1920 is first year with new fork like photo. Horn moved from handle bar to fender in 1927. So it is a 1920 to 1926 Excelsior Photo looks like smaller 750cc cylinder, if true it is a 25 or 26 SuperX.

  12. Very happy when Toyota offered "lifetime" muffler for my 92 Toyota, paid for one muffler, received three (so far).
  13. Area code 989 is located in northeastern Michigan and covers Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City. It is the only area code that serves the area.
