I like the wheels on the 65. Nice 1972 Monte as well.

Actually Bob, I think the wide whites on Silver Arrow I look awful. They certainly aren't period correct for 1963 so maybe Bill Mitchell was looking for a retro look. Can't say I like the cone shaped wheel covers on it either.

Bill Mitchell saw fit to install wide whitewalls on Silver Arrow I. I wouldn’t have wanted to argue with Bill……..

Although the wood wheel is nice eye candy, I find the stock wheel to be more comfortable. The curvature of the hub/horn bar area is perfect for resting a hand on. Not so much the wood wheel.

It is a 1966 air cleaner and the lid should be chrome.

It doesn't get much better than Diplomat Blue with a white interior. But then again, I'm biased after owning one for 24 years!!

That's what the issue was with my 69. -
I have done this in the past and I think it is the easiest way to change the bulbs.

The owner was duped by the seller when he bought it. He was told it was a factory Super Wildcat engine and probably paid accordingly. If you read the comments, he found out during the auction that it was not a factory Super Wildcat. Maybe his reserve was based on the thought that it was a factory Super Wildcat and depending on what he paid for the car, he could be upside down now.

I peruse Schmitt’s website from time to time and some of the descriptors they use are not accurate for some of the listings. Some spell checking would also be in order. -

Maybe that is what they think is the speedminder? Of course, cruise control negates the speedminder. -

Beautiful color. I don’t know why this color wasn’t more popular back in the day. It is rare today and even more so on a GS. For $100K, it would be nice if the door jamb switches worked unless the battery was disconnected when the pictures were taken. -
These would make a great quilt!

Agreed Jason. It is one of the cleanest unmodified ones I have ever seen in a very long time. -
The seats are from a 1971 - 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix.

The full lower rocker moldings were optional on the 1968 and 1969. Without this, all you had was the narrow molding with the black insert.

It is tough to reach this tank. You basically have to feel around with your hand. There should be a check valve just before the tank which controls vacuum going in and out. These can fail with age. There are numerous places where vacuum can leak from these systems. Check the vacuum port on the firewall and work your way from there.

The white floor mat?

That is a 58 Limited next to the LeSabre. You don't see many of them in a junk yard. Cool yard!

It is a Frankenriv. A 64 steering wheel and 69-72 Grand Prix exterior door handles. -
Oddly enough, the 1965 Caprice had cardboard trunk liners. Not sure about the 1966 but definitely not in 1967.

The 68 ElDorado has been on my bucket list for years.
