  1. Hi partner, You talking about the combo tail light and license plate bracket? On the Carb linkage, from the pedal to the carb linkage or choke and manual throttle linkage?
  2. Hi Dave, Yes, that is correct for the spare hold down. Looks like a heart, and has three nipples on each point that fits in the centering holes of the spare wheel. Locks the wheel in place. Radiator number is 739302 ('37) or 770351 ('38) Here is a shot of Vic's linkage, I could not find one of mine.
  3. Great idea, I use these, for the same reasons. https://www.amazon.com/Jewelers-Solid-Rubber-Bench-Block/dp/B00598CV2S
  4. Spare fuel float and accelerator pump....darn ethanol. 😠
  5. I used the same material on a 36. Not sure if it was OEM, but the old material was cut in about 2"-3" lengths. I cut mine to match then used a drill to open a perfect whole in the center, ran the chassis to body bolts through it. Meaning the material rests between the body and the frame, with the bolt running through it.
  6. Ball & Trunnion, maybe ? https://www.google.com/search?q=ball+and+trunnion+type+universal+joint&rlz=1C9BKJA_enUS902US902&oq=ball+and+tru&aqs=chrome.0.0i512j69i57j0i512l4.7827j0j7&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#imgrc=Pl5SyiJdwzqM8M
  7. Love the story…it’s worth as much as the truck. Pump is readily available, not hard to find from your favorite suppler. My go to has been DCM of Michigan. The pump is so important that I never took the chance of rebuild.
  8. Authentic Beauty, they are only that way once.... Water pump can come out, it will be tight....expect skinned knuckles (fan and pully will get you) And here is the "but".....if you are taking the pump off, you "may" want to inspect the water distribution tube...and then the radiator will have to come off. And while your at it, thermostat could probably be refreshed. I have seen photos of the OEM having a rod going across the top of the battery...but by the looks of yours, its a simple squeeze of of the all thread rod going horizontal across the inner top of the box. BTW, your shifter "mushroom" draft gasket is OEM....do what ever you can to preserve it. Nobody is making them (at least none I know of). The wind lace and kick panel look exactly like mine before the refurb.
  9. From my experience, the whole punches were done at a much later date, someone tried to get the data off the cards and "scantron" them into a computer. Note how all numbers "4" wholes are at the same distance down on the card The number above each option, tells you how many of them were added to your car. For example, 1 over the option Lighter, means they added that option. Danielle should have included in your envelope a sales sheet, that lists options for that year and model, if she has it. You can then cross reference your options to the sales sheet options. Ref. the color, I have yet to be able to decode that.
  10. Nice article in the club news @Mattml430, great color combination.
  11. Hi Joe, my interchange books do not include seats, but I can tell you from experience, both Plymouth and Dodge 1937 & 1938 interchange. 1936 I think the fuel filler neck was in a more forward position so I am not sure if the same bench back will work and not sure of the bottom fitment.
  12. I’m a buyer when you get them designed, these are for the Ford guys. Over time the hook will rub the paint to a dull shine, they are too narrow.
  13. Literally a shot in the dark for me, on the 36-38 Trucks, there is a fuse on the back of the amp gauge...not sure about 32 cars.
  14. A real looker, keep her original until its time for the frame off.
  15. Hey Ply, If your return spring is on, the linkage will not slip into the toe board....the return spring forces the linkage in the resting position (up), not acceleration position (down).
  16. Put your cotter pin legs in the hole and spread them, then attach the spring to the head, or straighten the end of the spring and clip inside the hole, like I did. Either way.
  17. Can take one this weekend, simply put its a tiny hole in the upper toe board.
  18. Very easy to fabricate, do you have the passenger side?
  19. Scott you are correct, by bad, it is a wedged key.
