  1. Cantilever rear springs, not taper leaf, odd wire wheel rear hubs, looks a whole lot like an early to mid twenties DORT frame I have out back. That's probably not what you wanted to hear.
  2. Your pump has a more expensive spring-loaded grease cup,if it's original, and it has a side cooling line for probably an intake manifold so it would be for the motor in a higher end vehicle. My teens Cadillac V-8's are so equipped but totally different pumps. The guy that needs it or would love to have it for a spare is evidently not monitoring this web site. Would like to see you "bump" it a couple times to see if word could get out to him.Or her. If it has to go,give me a price on scrap plus shipping to Wyoming please.
  3. I think we are all getting an education on that stuff as it's identified.
  4. John, Where are you unearthing all that ancient stuff you have on here? And wasn't the Great Falls swapmeet cancelled for good? The one time I was there it was really a good one for buying good, original, early stuff. Steve in Cheyenne
  5. I just want to make one more point,a panel delivery has the truck front end,a sedan delivery has the car front end.
  6. Cadillac? That makes it ten times more valuable!
  7. The National Auto Museum in Reno(Sparks) Nv will do research for a fee,you might give those experts a try.
  8. It's based on a 1941 sedan delivery with the car front end which according to the Chevy Crestline book 9,918 were made. None are shown with the rear side windows and cutting out the metal and putting in glass doesn't look like it would give the same look. It says 214 Master Deluxe chassis's and 328 Special Deluxe chassis's were sold to specialty builders so it could be the pictured vehicle came from one of them.
  9. The Truck Spotters Guide by Tad Burness lists Gold Crown and Silver Crown engines for 1936 and 37 at least so your in the ballpark.
  10. The club is WOKR,short for Willys,Overland,Knight Registry. Their site is WWW.WOKR.ORG Good luck, you may need it. Is your search for wood or wire wheels? Wood may be obtainable.
  11. I have run into many guys over the years looking for those rings without much luck. They would take any size and resize them if necessary. Rim mogul Vin Cassidy may have gotten a few in a recent rim pile pickup,I don't have his contact info at hand,I'll try to look it up,but you might consider having a good machine and welding shop roll some up for you.
  12. Many years ago I sold a 1923 Olds project and included a pair of these in the sale but they were for a later car,I trhink ROCKETRAIDER has it right for 26-27.
  13. Are we sure it's a roadster and not a sport coupe? That whole split windshield assembly just doesn't look "open car" to me.
  14. I had to chuckle when I read your line across the bottom. That probably was a challenge,Yea,just look for the black one over there.
  15. I would say 27 Chevy
  16. Has Brown Lipe Gear Co on one side of the cover, patent dates 06,09,13 on the other. I couldn't see any numbers in the case but they may be covered with old oil cake. It's a big, heavy one,the width of the front is 19 1/4",the ring inside the bolts is about 17 5/8". Looks like the clutch pedal can be adjusted to fit the length of the drivers leg. Appreciate any help.
  17. Sure is a big hole in that left front tire, looks hollow inside, kinda wonder why it isn't flat. Oh,and an old friend of mine called his a Stupidshaker.
  18. Willys Aero huh? That's something to go on. I could have gotten a better picture of the front of it. I'll try tomorrow. Paul,Your credentials have incited me to PM you on some Olds stuff, hope you don't mind.
  19. Benny, It appears you have some type of disc wheel that has the full circle ring to hold the rim on. You don't need wedges or clamps with this style. You take the nuts off, take the ring off,put the rim on,then the ring and nuts. I'm enclosing a couple pics of a TUARC brand disc wheel that is of the same style. Hope that helps some.
  20. I looked in the big Crestline Olds book and there are some pictures of the early V-8s but they're not great. From what I can see, yours looks more like a 16 than a 17 or 18 based on the way the headers come off of the exhaust manifolds but don't take it to the bank. 16 was the first year as you probably know.
  21. Could be. There was a whole 55-56 Ford quarter panel in there too,it's gone to a good home.
  22. Seems like an odd repair panel piece, maybe that's why it's still around. I'm guessing early to mid fifties. Measuring from the back to where the door recess starts is 27 1/4" couple inches above the bottom. Appreciate any help.
  23. It's an NOS barn find, under where birds roosted over it. Number hand printed on it is 676410. Bing search did nothing for me. Measuring across the top from the point in back to the front edge over the headlight hole is 53 1/4". Appreciate any help.
  24. It's not 29 or 30 Cadillac.
  25. The housing is only about 4 1/2" long. It's type GB,No 60427,held on somewhere by a couple real healthy bolts. Also has GB44 cast into the housing,It looks a little archaic to be Graham Bros,I'm guessing motorcycle. Appreciate any help.
