  1. I am familiar with your problem. The MV-41 can also be filled out by a notary public or a police officer, which I suggest you try to have do it. Good luck.
  2. I am not sure if it is a U2 hard to tell. However I think the car may have an electric fuel pump. Just to the left of the air filter there is a silver item with hoses connected to it. Also there is a blue wire running down the vacuum tank fuel line going directly to it. The photo is cut off and really can not be certain. As I am looking it also looks like the "fuel pump" is connected to the vacuum tank based on the way the fuel hoses are running.
  3. Give Frank Malatesta in New Jersey a call. He is a military vehicle and truck collector plus he owns Horseless Carriage Transporters. He may be able to steer you in the right direction.
  4. You are correct. I read the post incorrectly. Thanks for setting me straight. Jim
  5. I believe Karen1977 is asking for the weight of the engine only not the whole truck.
  6. There is not a separate oil sending unit. Oil sending units were used on electric gauges. 1941 Buicks were mechanical gauges. The actual pressure is read by the gauge. Yes you can hookup a gauge at the engine block to check the pressure.
  7. Did you try Bill Hirsch. They're colors are usually good.
  8. There is a separate Riveria section under Buick, you might have better luck there.
  9. Tractor Supply IR compressors ........ Please read the reviews. There are many complaints about the motors.
  10. I agree with Matt and Bloo. Had an 80 gal 6 1/2 hp 2 stage air compressor but sold it with the house when I moved from NJ to PA. Thought I could get away with a smaller 60 gal 3 hp unit. Wrong. Saving up for another 80 gal 2 stage.
  11. I have been to the Greenwich Concours many time when the Wennerstrom family ran the event but not since Hagerty took over. That is why I am questioning purchasing the tickets at the gate. Thanks Jim
  12. Hi All, We are thinking about going to the Greenwich Concours this year. When you go onto the website there is not mention of buying tickets at the gate only on line. If bought on line there is no refund. The show is rain or shine. Does anyone know if you can buy tickets on the day of the show Sunday 6/5/2022. I sent an email to Hagerty tickets with no response. Thanks Jim https://www.greenwichconcours.com
  13. You can also try Nostalgia Motors in Boonton NJ or Kanter Restorations in the same town. If you want to go with high end work you can look into Stonebarn in Vienna NJ.
  14. Rhode Island Wiring gets my vote. Excellent work.
  15. Hi All, I believe Roy Martin retired from fixing water temperature gauges. Thanks Jim
  16. Mine arrived Friday in the Northeast PA area. A little disappointed the cover has a tear in it. Will start reading over the weekend.
  17. H, You might be better listing this in the Dodge Brothers section of the forum.
  18. You can also try Automotive Restorations in Lebanon NJ. The engine guy there is excellent.
  19. I have had good luck on EBAY for both buying and selling plates. Sold my NJ plates when I moved out of state. Bought Pa plates when I moved to my new home. Surprisingly most of the PA plates that I have bought are from non PA sellers.
  20. Received mine this afternoon and is a great issue. As Walt stated the new headquarters and library articles are terrific. As well as Hershey 2021 coverage.
  21. Have September but still waiting for October. In the past I would get 2 in the same month.
  22. Hi You might try putting your question in the Oldsmobile section of the forum. Some only read about their make of car.
  23. Not sure where you are located..... but absolutely awful in the snow.
