Nearing the end of a restoration, obtained as an abandoned project (Basket case). Discovered the trunk lid was replaced with different GM lid. So hardware holes are in the wrong place for an Olds tail piece. Need a measurement please. Anyone out there with ‘37 Olds F37 slant back? Need measurement from top of trunk lid down to top of tail light/ license plate holder. Just want to get close and I’ll center it and drill the holes. Thanks. Also, are front hood panels hinged with long rods that extend through, or pins just at each end. At a disadvantage having received this in pieces. Thank you.

Bringing back '37 Olds F37. Front seats. Any one know how/where the springs anchored that assist the front seat forward? Coil springs I assume. Approx length, size? I assume there are 2 that anchor to floor pan and somewhere on the seat frame. I wasn't left with much to rebuild and my manual doesn't address this. Thanks
