  1. I have a ton of info on heavy trucks. Probably the largest collection that we have gathered in the last 40 years. unfortunately I do not have time because we just moved our shop to home and a lot of stuff is stilled packed. And to make matters worse, my job is traveling around the country 10 months out of the year. I will share when I can. Here is our 2 ton 34 Dodge tow truck. Thanks Dave
  2. Double flair is for the brake system only because its high pressure.
  3. Hi Matt Didn't have time to read all the post. Carb diag 3 things to check for Pressure from fuel pump feed to carb. Vacuum pull from the suction side of fuel pump. Start at the fuel pump then work down to the fuel tank. volume that the fuel pump is putting out. Specs should be in repair manual. Hope this helps.
  4. Chrome was an option for the, grill shell, headlights, bumpers, and windshield were an option starting in 33. Solid roof started with the 2nd series 35 truck.
  5. Guy was doing a full restore. Lost track of him when I went on the road doing a job. Here is the engine.
  6. Usually when a transplant is done. the locking tabs on the exhaust bolts are not used and the ground straps are not used. The ground straps are the correct ones for the 409. They are thick. The other engines had skinny. The resistor block is 409 only. The fan shroud is correct for the 409.
  7. 3 speed were super rare. here is one that I bought in 76. 380hp 3 speed.
  8. 3 speed was standard, 4 was an option.. if you look at the column, its clean meaning its a 4 speed.
  9. What puzzles me is that it has the chrome package. 63 was the 1st year for chrome.
